This my home and a pied-a-terre for our extended family, which commutes from all over the east coast periodically throughout the year to be here in NYC. We are excited to offer the apt., when available to world travelers who want to experience NYC on a reasonable budget.
The apartment has a beautiful interior space, that is furnished and decorated by local designers and artisans in the greater New York City area.
Nolita is located in the epic-center of downtown New York City. You can still enjoy the quaintness and charm of an exclusive and artistic neighborhood while being steps away from Soho, Little Italy, Greenwich Village and Chinatown.
It is the location of one of the most important cultural institutions in downtown NY, 'The New Museum'. It is also steps away from my favorite restaurants and stores, Cafe Habana, Tacombi, Wholefoods, Lovely Day, and Cafe Gitane, Public, Cafe Portal, Freeman's Alley, The Smile. There are 3 major trains, the 6, NR, and FM in the neighborhood. You will quickly realize how central this apt is.
Spacious property with everything (shopping, food, subway etc) steps away. We would return here on another trip to NYC.
Fantastic place to stay for our NY trip. Great location close to Soho, amazing restaurants/shopping nearby, subway within walking distance.
Apartment was clean, great communication from the owner, hope to stay here again!
Was thoroughly pleased with this rental apartment after looking through many listings. Location is AWESOME & the most amazing thing was how quiet this apartment was for being right in the middle of all the action. There was a small couch that does not appear in the current photo which was a plus. Property was clean and well-maintained. Wifi worked great. Would love to rent here again. Owners extremely professional & pleasant to work with. Nice doorman. Felt secure.
We had a great stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Very clean, modern and decorated with great pieces. By far the quietest place I have stayed in NY. The owner was easy to get a hold of any time needed and a pleasure to deal with. The location was awesome! Restaurants, shopping, metro stations, and just plain exploring.
Positives - Great part of NYC. The apartment is larger than expected which was great. Also the apartment layout worked well with our two kids and it was close to amenities. Owner's communication was also excellent. WIfi worked perfectly.
Negatives - we arrived after 34 hours travel from Sydney to be told that cleaners had not finished and we couldn't immediately access (this was at 6 pm on a Sunday and made things quite difficult with young kids). Despite photos showing a couch and an eames recliner neither were present. There was not enough comfortable seating for us all to sit on after a day on our feet (I see photos have since changed). Also, there was a distinct musty smell in apartment (it is a basement apartment) and kitchen cupboards were in a slight state or disrepair.
A fantastic location for a family exploring New York, so many places within walking distance and so accessible by metro to other places too. Love the area. Very friendly neighbourhood and great apartment, plentiful linen and comfy beds! Would recommend Cafe Habana, The Meatball shop, Joe's Pizza (Washington Square) and Lomardi's - all within walking distance, plus a fabulous whole-food store within 2 miinutes walk. Would highly recommend.
