The villa is located in Gerani / Platanias, Crete, Greece. Approximately 25 min walk into Platanias. The villa is suitable for those who want a quiet and central location, only 200 meters basis of beach.
The villa is situated on a hill and therefore has stunning views over the sea.
The house is located in a peaceful and quiet street / area with little traffic. The location is optimal for those who like stroll / jog. In the area there are also many excellent cycling terrain.
There are several food stores nearby, as well as bakery and taverns. The closest supermarket is at the side of the villa. Here there is also the possibility of bike and moped rentals.
The house is built so that the opportunity to travel in groups is present, as for example. two / three families, or all three generations; grandfather / grandmother, grandchildren and children. The villa is for 12 persons + 2 babies. We will not rent to people under 25 years.
The house has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and is distributed as follows:
In the basement is a separate laundry room with washing machine, ironing board, iron and vacuum cleaner. Below there is also space for storing suitcases, right under the stairs. The rest of the basement at the disposal of the owner.
1. Bedroom with 2x90x200 cm beds, where there is little extra space; wheelchair / walker, stroller or crib also. The bathroom is bigger than the others and has input from both the bedroom and from the hallway.
2. Bedroom with 2x80x200 cm, with its own small bathroom.
Master bedrom with own dressing room and bathroom, as well as its own private large partially covered terrace overlooking the sea.
2 bedrooms with 160 x 200 beds and own small bathroom, and common large, covered terrace overlooking the tennis court, garden and countryside with great sunset.
All bedrooms have tv.
The house has big, beautiful open plan kitchen / living room with access to a fantastic covered terrace with dining for 12. The kitchen has a bar solution, with seating for 6.
On the terrace you can enjoy views of the infinity pool and the ocean.
The pool is made for children and is from 30 cm to 1,60 m. No diving allowed.
Out area, the following: pool with children's section, sun loungers, umbrellas, outdoor shower,
BBQ with sink and refrigerator, own private tennis court and private parking for 3 cars under the carport with possibility for washing.
The area is fenced with a private port callings system and automatically opens.

Large pool towels are at the house, but if beach towels desired, this can be purchased at the store right by.

* Villa Hanna Marie has a so-called EOT- rental license issued by the Greek Tourism Ministry. That means that the house on significant areas are subject to the same regulations as hotels. Guests are therefore ensured that the house has the promised standard and that it carried out inspections of water, sewage, escape routes, fire fighting equipment etc.
Villa Hanna Marie Payment Policy
Once you make a reservation for this villa, a minimum deposit of 30% is due at the time of booking. The remainder of the balance must be paid in full no later than 60 days before arrival. For “late bookings” the full amount will be requested at the time of booking. Late bookings are considered bookings made less than 60 days prior to arrival.
When the reservation is confimred, you will receive a booking confirmation from us. We will also email you with a booking confirmation, reference number and information regarding Villa Hanna Marie.
Our Cancellation Policy
The 30 % deposite in not refundable. Cancallation later then 60 days before arrival, there will be no refund. Please also note that all cancellations must be made only in writing (email).
Cancellations made prior to receiving a booking confirmation do not incur any fees.
For your peace of mind and to cover you from every eventuality, we recommend all guests to have comprehensive travel insurance.
Please make sure that there is no damage, breakage, missing items, no additional cleaning for the villas or that our Villa is left abnormally dirty, long distance calls made and no other outstanding charges upon check out. You, as the guest, agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure that your guests or families adhere to the rules and regulations affecting your property. Our villa is fully furnished, including a plentiful supply of bed linens and towels for guests’ use. Rearranging the furniture or removing any items from the villa is strictly prohibited.
The owner will be providing all rules in writing to you along with our terms and conditions once a reservation is confirmed. If property is reported damaged, broken, items missing, villas left abnormally dirty, etc., the owner reserves the right to pursue compensation with your contact details in order to resolve the issue.
Check-in and Check-out Times
The check-in is 16:00 and check-out time is 11:00. Flexibility around check out times depends on the future reservations.
Guests are responsible for their accommodation during occupancy, must lock windows and doors securely at all times when not on the premises, and must exercise due care in securing all personal property. Villa Hanna Marie is privately owned. The villa owner reserve the right to refuse service or rentals to anyone at their discretion.
Pets of any kind are not allowed at Villa Hanna Marie
The villa will be cleaned thoroughly prior to your arrival. We also include a mid-week cleaning service. Details about cleaning will be arranged with you on arrival, to ensure privacy is respected.
Complaints & Maintenance
In case of maintenance problems at your holiday property, the guests shall notify our local representative who will strive to repair the problem as soon as possible. No refund or rate adjustment will be made for unforeseen mechanical failures such as the supply of electricity, telephone service, water, pool filtration systems, air conditioning, television or cable service, appliances etc. It is the guest's obligation to report any problems immediately.
Villa Hanna Marie wishes to maintain a family atmosphere for the quiet enjoyment of guests. We rent to family groups and responsible adults and couples only! Special functions such as weddings are allowed, but only with written permission from the villa owner. Guests shall be respectfully quiet and peaceful, so as not to disturb the local residents in the area.

We have been renting houses in Crete for many years with our friendes and their children. we wanted to have a house that we could have together, but this did not exist. So we decided to build one, and after 15 years of searching, we finally found THE plot.
We wanted to build a house for all of our friends and familys, but we needed to take some considerations conserning Grand dad; because of our grandparents, who have problems to move around, we wanted to make the house easy for them to use . So they have their own bed/bathroom that is a little bigger than the other bedrooms, and no stairs to Climb. The property is on a hill, and the road up is a bit steep, but you have everything on the same Level, Perfect for Our grandfather.
We love the house, and many of our friends and guests loves it to.

The property has great location, we do not need a car, because everything is within walking distance: supermarked, tavernas, bakery and bars. Just Down the hill, and everything is near by.
The best With the house is the location! We do not need a car for staying here.
We have gras, so the children can play, big private parking for at least 3 cars, and the view. We can see the Mountains and the Beach/sea. When you are sitting at the table and looking over the sea, you would see the wonderful colors of the Ocean.
And when you wake up in the morning, there is only a few meters to the road, where you can go for a morning walk or go down to the beach for a morning swim. On the way back, you stop at the corner and buy Your fresh bread and orangejuice. The supermarked is NeXT to the house and they are very service minded.
The Villa uses also Our own taxidriver, that picks up at airport/tavernas/Chania or where ever you want to go. Lets us know if you want us to make a pick up.
If you want a massage at the house, we have also a nice woman that can do this also. Info, at the house.
The villa is 40 minutes from the airport in Chania, and Chania old town, is a " must to see" is only 25 km. from the house.
Gramvousa , where you might visit a Venetian Castle and Balos; a shallow and warm lagoon, a fantastic Beach that you can visit by taking the boat from Kissamos.
One of the best beaches in this area is Falassarnes, 45 min by car.
There are many nice roads to go by bike, and there is a Rental store for bikes/scooters next to the house.
If you like wine, we cooperative with a lokal winery that you may visite and have a guided tour and winetasting.

When the Clients make a booking, 30 % deposite must be paid within 10 days. ( not refundable ) The rest 70 % must be paid 60 days before arrival. Cansellation after 60 days, NO refund.
The Clients will also pay 900 E. to IBAN NO1012715820070
BIC; AUSNNO21, that the Clients will get back after the manager has controlled the villa. Inform us of your IBAN and BIC code, in order to refund the security deposit.
