Wonderful views and wonderful owner!

  • 5 of 5

My sister and I planned a last minute fall getaway and couldn't have picked a better property. We have been to Rockland and wanted to be able to walk to town so picked this home in the South End. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the beautiful views of Penobscot Bay and Rockland Harbor. The home has lots of windows and is full of light. The entire property is renovated and we loved everything about it. The owner went out of his way to make this a wonderful trip and we enjoyed some of his photographs that decorate the home. We will definitely be back!

GREAT PROPERTY

  • 5 of 5

We could not have been more pleased with this property. Sam was a wonderful host and not only provided pertinent information but greeted us with our first meal in Rockford. The upstairs apartment was really nice. Pictures didn't do it justice. Great restoration with all the modern conveniences.

A lovely restored Home with a private entry second floor apartment with a surprise!

  • 5 of 5

And the surprise was a third floor living room with views of the harbor. It was a very comfortable place to relax, and only a short walk along the harbor to town. We stayed a very enjoyable week there and will return!

The owners were nearby and could not have been more accommodating. The modern, large kitchen was equipped with everything we needed including gifts from the owners. We thank them for a wonderful week in Rockland.
