The first rays of sunshine each morning grace the easternmost end of St. Croix just minutes from the serenity of Peaceful Palms condo at Villa Madeline. A utopia unto itself, the villa exists among vibrant tropical landscape as a private vacation oasis perfect for a pair of couples. Two master suites are separated by a private pool with a hilltop ocean view and classically adorned living space with all the amenities and comforts one has come to expect from a Champagne Vacation.
Villa Madeleine is a gated community on the preferred east end of St. Croix known for its privately situated domiciles, verdant blooming greenery, and easy going comfort. Peaceful Palms is no exception to this trend, with two canopied king-bed accoutered master suites, Wi-Fi, TVs, & air conditioning in every room, and all the beach accessories one could want. Cooking or creating cocktails is a breeze in the fully stocked kitchen, and dining or drinking can be done with equal ease inside or out.
Location is often the keystone of a fabulous vacation, as is the case with this villa. Walking distance from fabulous beaches and restaurants like the hidden gemstone bakery, coffee, sandwich shop TLC and famous seafood and steak serving Duggan's Reef, this east end condo leaves no guest wanting. From the sunrise at Point Udall to snorkeling at Jack and Isaac's Bay, golfing at the Reef to a fancy dinner at the Galleon, or quirky Sunday brunch at Ziggy's Island Market and mini golf at the Divi Resort, it wouldn't be tough to spend most days entirely out east.
A quick drive into Christiansted rewards vacationers with a pastel-colored tour of vibrant St. Croix history and an unforgettable eye-full of local artisan shops. IB Designs is the cool counterpart to the famous island hook bracelet and handmade silver jewelry tradition, and is right next door to Asha ultra-bohemian clothing store - home to a world-famous fair-trade designer! A stop in Big Beard's store will reward the inquisitive with pirate lore and loot a 'plenty, while people-watchers will adore a boardwalk lunch at Shupe's and a quick ferry ride to Hotel on the Cay's white-sand beach.
Though the east end boasts many amazing beaches like Mermaid at Buccaneer (where the beachers can beach and the golfers can swing) and iguana hangout/tennis court-side Deep End, the rest of the island begs to be explored as well! Take a trip to the North Shore, paying particular attention to stop for homemade ice cream at Rowdy Joe's before spending the day at Cane Bay beach. Scuba drivers will never forget their descent to the famous "Wall," an absolutely epic opportunity to explore sea life at its most abundant expression, while cocktail connoisseurs will love the beachside bars (Cane Bay has two) and postcard-worthy scenery.
Spending a day on the west side of the island could include a drive through the rainforest, stopping on the way of course to see Miss Norma at Domino Club for her famous concoction of herb-and-honey infused rum called Mamawanna. Take a trip into historic Frederiksted and jump off the cruise ship pier, or spend the day beach-hopping up the coast starting with Sand Castles, where lucky vacationers may find Bruno building his daily masterpiece - an actual giant sandcastle! Continue to head up the shore, visiting Coconuts on the Beach for a blended lime in de coconut and finishing the day at Rythyms at Rainbow Beach for a majestic, jaw-dropping, archetypical Caribbean sunset.
Though you'll have a blissful beachy blast travelling the island, you will be so glad to be based at Villa Madeleine. Every week just a three-minute drive away, Divi Resort hosts a fiery spectacular night of entertainment including the dancing stilted giants, Mocko Jumbies, and a troop of mysterious and beautiful fire dancers known as the Flaming Gypsies. Restaurants, beaches, hilltop views, and the Buck Island throughway are all at home out east.
From sunrise to sunset, the Peaceful Palms at Villa Madeleine has all the allure and magic of a desert mirage. Transform the vision into vacation reality by booking your oasis today.

My wife and I spent 1 week at Peaceful Palms and loved everything about it. Fully equipped, total privacy, good security and vert clean and comfortable. Meet and greet at the airport was a nice touch. King bed in master was more comfortable than our own bed. Only time we used the A/C was in our bedroom at night since I have a sinus issue otherwise just enjoy the trade winds with perfect screened ventilation. Car is a must have although everything you need is a short drive. Awesome grocery/deli nea by. Best breakfast at The Deep End $10 and it is wonderful with view or the Sea and marina. Be sure to have dinner across the street at Duggens on the water. Use the private beach at the Bucceneer or the public park/ beach a mile east of the villa. Only regret is that we didn't book it longer. We will be back next year for 2 or 3 weeks. If we can wait that long.

My wife and I just spent a week here and enjoyed our stay but weren't blown away. As frequent visitors to St. Croix we have stayed in many different villas enjoying the different amenities each has to offer.
-Bed in Master Bedroom is extremely comfortable
-Private pool is fantastic, but...(see negatives)
-Location is ideal for those of us who love the east end
-Pool is only 5 feet deep no shallow end, why???
-Living Rm. furniture extremely uncomfortable
-Interior dated, but most rentals on island are
-View is mostly casino parking lot with water in far off distance
-Shower & bathroom layout very odd
Over all experience was good, but will look into other options outside of Villa Madeleine next visit.
My wife and I recently completed a nine-night stay on St. Croix at Villa Madeleine and it was a magical experience. I travel for work and have extremely high expectations from lodging and accommodations. It is rare that we stay in condos as you never know what you are going to get. Villa Madeleine was way above our expectations and really blew us away. The condo was extremely clean and the furniture seems to have been recently updated. The bed was VERY comfortable and the living/dining areas were fun to hang out in. We rented a two-bedroom condo and the second room is essentially a pool house with a master bathroom and washer/dryer facilities. Then there is the pool itself which was really the highlight of our stay at V.M. The condos have private pools for each residence and they are really nice. It is not huge, but there is plenty of room to swim decent laps. More importantly there are floating mattresses that we could have spent a week on. It is an incredible addition as you can always be in the water if that is your thing. We had a great time on the island and explored almost every area. Villa Madeleine is on the far East end, but it was easy to get around in the rental car. It was nice to be somewhat remote as we were looking for a quiet and private vacation. I couldn't recommend this condo any more. It was truly a magical place.

A little late on this review, but I wanted to say how much my family enjoyed our stay last Christmas at your villa. The pool, beach, and golf were all we were looking for. We still talk about this trip as one of the best ever.
The property was just as described, and was quite clean, modern, and well-maintained. When we had a mix-up with our rental car, so we were greatly relieved that no issues arose in regard to the villa.
Nearby restaurants provided a wide variety of options, and we simply enjoyed the ability to lounge all week and enjoy our time away from the snow and cold.
Hoping we can return again soon!

It was very nice condo and we enjoyed it very much until i, yoon, had so many flea bites all over my legs then my arms too.
i am still suffering by irritation and bumps. Flea bites are far worse than mosquitos or other insects, very persistent and itches badly!!!
We could have rated 4-5 stars but unfortunately not so pleased by it.
i am sure the home owner will solve this problem and once i receive the result, i will refer to my friend who is going to make the trip to St. Croix very soon.
Love and blessings,
Bob and yoon
We did not want to leave this condo at Villa Madeleine! It was just what we needed. It was relaxing, clean and comfortable. We also loved the fact that it was very private and quiet. We will definitely come again!

My wife and I stayed at this Villa for a week in May 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. The location, the pool, the cleanliness and being greeted
at the airport was a nice touch. Plenty of great restaurants, especially Duggans at the bottom of the hill on the water. WiFi, Cable TV and we never used the air conditioning except at night since I have a nasal problem. The tradewinds keep the villa very comfortable. Beautiful beaches nearby and a king bed in the master that is more comfortable than the expensive mattress we have at home. Definitely rent a car. We used Centerline and picked up and dropped off at the airport. The only thing we regret is that we didn't stay longer. We wont make that mistake again next year.
