Clean, beautiful view, the owner was cooperative the only downsize was poor internet signal.
The owner was extremely responsive to questions. Pictures of the unit are very accurate. Check-in was easy and unit was clean. Great location.
We stay at Silver Shelss every year and always in the St. Marteen building.
This unit has a nice view of the ocean and is comfortable. Comparing with the other units, things to note: the kitchen is fairly well stocked but appliances are dated. There is not an ice maker in the refrigerator but we just bought bags of ice. The walls are in need of paint, there are places where you can see the wall was patched but not repainted. The master bedroom does not have furniture to use for storing your clothes; the closet is the only option. We are more interested in location than luxury, so this unit met our needs and we would stay here again.
A great place to stay. There were 7 of us and we had plenty of room. Great view of the ocean. We will definitely be back next year.
Excellent location! Excellent service! Excellent amenities! I will stay here every year; keep my week reserved for a life time! We have stayed at other condos in this area but this one has them all beat! Well stocked kitchen, beautiful large balcony and could see our umbrella from the unit along with the white sands and blue green waters. Breath taking view! Large bedrooms and living area. We loved the workout facilities; cardio room and separate free weight workout room and tennis courts. We also enjoy being next to Henderson Beach with the mile long all natural beach where sea turtles lay their eggs and crabs run wild. So much fun!
I rented this property for a long weekend with my family for the Easter holiday. The overall layout of the condo is nice. The reason why I am giving the property a poor is upon arrival to the property we noticed that the unit was hot. We turned down the AC unit in the hopes to get the condo cooled down. Unfortunately unknown to us the AC unit was broken I had to contact the owner who asked me to contact our point of contact at the property to get this issue resolved it was unfornuate that the owner could not have been more involved and instead made us feel like this was our problem to deal with since he does not live in the area. It took over two days for this problem to be resolved, so for a 4 day vacation we did not have AC for two of the days, though we rented the property thinking all of this would be in working order. I had to request to have the owner contact to discuss our concerning with no working AC he should have contacted us out of courtesy as their renters since we were inconvienced during our stay. My parents are in their 70's and I am 7 months pregnant so a unit with out working AC was a huge issue for us during our stay. In talking with the owner about the issues he was not very helpful and did not offer us any type of reduction in rental payment considering that we had to deal with this issue and make ourselves avaialble to the repair people he basically said we were lucking to be getting the unit fixed so quickly considering he could shop around and get other quotes and a cheaper rate to fix the AC. Unfortunate that on a vacation I had to help take care of another persons business. As a rental property owner myself this is not way that you conduct business with your renters.
