Beautiful home with great views! 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, large balcony and big backyard equipped with a BBQ and firepit are great for entertaining guests. Located in a quiet suburb of the Park Meadows Entertainment District, the home is within walking distance to many attractions! The property includes cable, hi speed internet, numerous DVDs, and a downstairs mini bar. The home was recently renovated, and given complete make-over: stainless steel oven, refrigerator, microwaves, stove top,dishwasher, granite counter tops, and new carpet and ceramic flooring. It includes an automatic garage for two vehicles, an A/C for entire house, or a swamp cooler if you prefer. This home can comfortably accommodate 8 guests. Park Meadows Mall, Lone Tree Arts Center, Sky Venture Inside Sky Diving, Brunswick Zone, United Artist Regal Movie Theater, Sky Ridge Medical Hospital and Kaiser Permanente, Lone Tree Rec Center, Light Rail Station, and many other bars and restaurants within two miles from the house!

We enjoyed our stay.

Tina was very quick to respond to our telephone calls and questions and followed up quickly. The house was well stocked for guests. The kitchen is very well stocked, nice refrigerator, coffee pot, lots of pans, etc. Two nice bedrooms upstairs. Big fenced yard with deck. Great location. I would say that it should not be advertised as a 4 bedroom as the 4th room is quite small and the only access to the room and the downstairs bathroom is through the quite nice bedroom and the small room. That saying there is a queen sleeper sofa in the spacious family room with bar downstairs. The bar area had a newer convection oven microwave for our use. Washer, dryer and a small refrigerator also downstairs. Overall, we had a great time with our 4 children and spouses.

Heat stopped working at 1 am, the 2nd night.

My wife and her friend we're freezing! They saw low battery blinking on the thermostat.

They had to search the house for batteries and finally found some in a remote in the basement. They got the heat to work at 3:00, FINALLY.

The house was 55 degrees!

When I got up at 6 am, the heat was not working AGAIN, so I went downstairs and I worked on it until it came on.

About an 1.5 hrs later it quit again.

I pulled it apart and took the filter out.

The filter was so filthy and clogged that it was choking out the pilot light. It could've started a house fire! It was horrible!

I took the washable filter outside to spray it off. Once I did that, I dried it off and put the furnace back together and relit the pilot. From then, it worked just fine.

I am still considering sending her my bill, because I spent 3 hrs of my time WORKING on my VACATION!!

She said via text that I should've called Diego. I said, "who's that"?

She said via text that I shouldn't have"touched" her furnace. My wife said, well, we had no way to contact you or a maintenance guy.

We had a family to keep warm.

This exchange took place after she called to tell me that I had only paid for two nights.

I told her she was mistaken, because I had an email payment confirmation for 3 nights, with all taxes and fees and a deposit.

This lady then went and changed our reservation and added another night!!

Then when she was told we we're out if town, she had the audacity to enter the property where our personal belongings were, without our consent or knowledge.

When we got back, we found the house UNLOCKED AND UNSECURED!!

We we livid!! How dare this woman enter that house without our consent, and who knows what they went through, what they may have taken!!

I told her this via text msg.

I told her that we were NOT staying an additional night at her home. I told her that WE left her house CLEANER then when WE found it and we have photographic evidence of every room in the house.

She then told us she had notified the authorities on us!!

4 of our guests LEFT IMMEDIATELY because she violated their trust and she breached the contract.

We had everything loaded in 5 minutes. We text her @ 5:54pm telling her we were our of her house.

She is certifiably crazy!

She kept part of our deposit, claiming damage, because we weren't out 11am. She said we had until 6pm, to decide to stay an additional night.

I complained on 11/20 by phone, to Home Away, now written.

We had numerous issues with this home. On our arrival, the carpet on the upper level was quite wet from recent cleaning, requiring a couple days to dry before we could remove our shoes without getting our socks wet. There is about a 4 foot dropoff from upper level to the entry level with no railing. It wasn't a problem for us, but could be for renters with small children. We had to store food in a hall closet because there was very little unused storage space in the kitchen. The position of the oven prevents 2 drawers and 2 cabinet doors from opening more than a few inches and we had to use a flashlight to see what was in the cabinet. Also in the kitchen, only salad forks were stocked. Not a huge deal, but having no dinner forks was one of many annoyances. One of the upper bedrooms contains a king bed that occupies most of the room and is pushed up against the wall, making it difficult for a second person to get in and out of bed. The sink in the upstairs bath has no means to open or close the drain without opening the cabinet beneath, reaching in and moving the lever. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. We called and it was allegedly fixed, though it was still loose after the maintenance man left. Downstairs, the DVD player was not connected, but an HDMI cable was present, and I was able to make the connection--again not a big deal but annoyances add up. The layout of the lower level is odd-- the access to the bath is through the two bedrooms, which are separated only by a door. The larger BR on this level has a king bed. Access is slightly better than in the upper BR, but space is still tight on one side. And the bedside tables are without a doubt the smallest I've seen. The shades on the bedside lamps each had 3 wire supports, none of which were properly installed. One fell out in the middle of the night, clanking against the metal base of the tiny bedside table. I was able to install all the supports correctly so they didn't fall out again. The last and most disturbing problem was the presence of cockroaches--we killed several during our stay. I don't want to be entirely negative. This is an older house and numerous updates have been made. It has a fenced back yard which was adequate for our dogs. When we called about the aforementioned toilet paper holder and several missing light bulbs, we got a response the same day, even if the fix was less than optimal.

Some good, some...not so much

My husband and I stayed at this home for 13 days while trying to decide if we would like to move to the area from IL...a trial run. It was more space than we needed but we liked the photos and the price was right.

Pros:The layout is great for a multi-generational family offering two bathrooms, separate floors and living areas. The garage parking was appreciared when we got 6" of snow overnight. There are 4 TVs, DVDs, kids' books and lots of baby items. Beds are comfortable. Close to shopping.

Cons: As mentioned by another reviewer, communication was an issue. We had a problem with the wifi going out and it took over 24 hours and another attempt to contact Tina to get a reply. She was out of the country and basically we were on our own in dealing with the problem by contacting the Dish people. We mentioned there were no dish towels or pot holders at that time. She said she would have someone drop them off but that didn't happen. Most rentals provide a binder of information such as how to operate heat, AC, DVD players, TV channels,etc. She has a back door with a tricky lock. We thought it was broken and would leave us vulnerable overnight, until we discovered a scrap of paper on the side of the fridge with the instructions. We also had a movie night planned with our grandkids when we were unable to figure out how to operate the DVD player with the three remotes. Very frustrating. Another strange thing was the king bed we shared was pushed up against a wall, so that in the morning when I typically get up early, I would have to climb over my husband, disturbing his sleep to get out. There did seem to be enough room to create a small walkway if the nightstand had been moved easy fix.

Although the home appeared to be clean we encountered various kinds of bugs and 5 spiders in the course of our stay. For the first several days we didn't notice any but when I spotted some in the bathroom on the speckled floor tiles (they blended in) I began to look more closely and killed several more. I also found another variety on the kitchen counter when I moved the coffeemaker. Eek!

The other thing was the Dish network...very limited, lots of home shopping/infommercial channels. Internet had to be reset several times.

This could have been a more pleasant stay with a few improvements especially with better communication. I would not stay here again. Sorry to be somewhat negative, but the review is to primarily benefit future renters, not just the owner.

This house was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay. I would suggest just one thing now that the colder months are coming to shut off the sprinkler system. We didn't realize there was one and one morning walked out and slipped because it had iced over. There was enough space for all of us and the outside area was perfect for us to sit by a fire. It was really close to shopping. We had the at home feeling we were hoping for. We will definitely look for this rental again in our future trips to Denver.

Clean, quiet, great location

It was easy to find, plenty of parking. The house was clean and nice. Location was close to everything we were here for. Would stay again if ever in town.
