Curious, travellers, antiques and art lovers, foodies. We love meeting people and sharing our tips and best kept secrets of Bordeaux.
It was love at first sight for this little charming apartment. A perfect place to enjoy the quality of life of Bordeaux.....
Within a walking distance from all the places to be in Bordeaux
We loved the historic feel of the apartment and being so central to all of the city centre sights was great. A welcome basket of goodies was a really nice touch too. Bordeaux is a brilliant city, we had a wonderful stay.
Luciana and her husband did everything to make us comfortable....great hosts
The apartment is lovely...perfect for our stay in Bordeaux. Walking distance to everything. Great neighborhood. Can't wait to return!
My wife and I stayed in Luciana and Pierre's apartment for six wonderful days in October. Pierre met us at the front door on our arrival from the airport, and showed us around the apartment.
The apartment was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. The complete kitchen was a perfect size for our needs and had everything we needed for our stay: corkscrews, wine glasses, coffee maker, coffee cups, and knives and plates to serve bread, cheese, and fruits from the local markets. (There was a lot more to the kitchen - pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and other items, but we found ourselves eating in town a lot!) There were two balconies overlooking the street, with a small table and chairs where we enjoyed coffee and croissants in the mornings and wine and cheese in the evenings. The location couldn't have been more ideal; close to wonderful restaurants, shops, and the Garonne River. Also, there is a Sunday market just beyond the Place de la Bourse, on the river, that was terrific, and should not be missed.
The apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay, from the kitchen, dishes, and utensils, to towels and even a washing machine in the bathroom. The bed was amazing - comfortable, with a fantastically warm comforter that invited sleeping in.
We definitely will return to Luciana and Pierre's apartment on our next visit to Bordeaux - highly recommended.
The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos. It is very tastefully decorated with old world fixtures for an idyllic stay in Bordeaux. It has a lovely balcony to have wine and take in the city and is very centrally located for restaurants and cafes. The host was a pleasure to interact with and even arranged a crib for our daughter when we stayed. Very highly recommended!
We loved staying in this lovely little apartment with its classical décor, high ceilings and tiny balconies. We were pleasantly surprised by the up to date shower, and kitchen facilities.
Everything is close by, within walking distance to many restaurant areas, the river, the tourist office etc.
Luciana is a welcoming and helpful host!
thanks so much. We will recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Bordeaux.
We could not have found a better location from which to explore the beautiful city of Bordeaux on foot and bicycle. Several of the Bordeaux's best restaurants are literally minutes away by foot and two of them are just a few doors down on the same street. The apartment was exactly as described and the Owners were very welcoming and helpful. The apartment's elevated ceilings and parquet floor were architectural highlights and there was no better location for a late afternoon glass of wine than the small balcony overlooking the Rue des Bahutiers. We will definitely come back to Bordeaux in the future and look forward to returning to Luciana's Pied a Terre!
