Three bedroom home with two living areas and two and one half baths.
Located an easy fifteen minute drive from Baylor and McLane Stadium. Easy access to I-35 and Highway 6 as well as Lake Shore Drive. Historic live oak trees. Comfortable rooms that were home to three children who have finished college and gone on to have homes of their own. Home has restored family antiques that add a flavor all their own. Property includes a 3 person spa. One additional bedroom that is home to teaching, family and traveling memorabilia that is available but with only a twin bed and may not be acceptable to some.
Property is located 3.5 miles west of I-35 just north of Waco.
There is easy access to Baylor University. The house is just .5 west of Highway 933.
This is also called the Golson Rd. From the north traveling down I-35 you can exit at Elm Mott, go west on highway 308 three miles then turn left on 933. Go about .5 miles and turn onto Cox's Oak Valley Rd. Count the mail boxes and enter after 5th mail box.
We worked at the Silos for 4 days and this home allowed us to be close enough to town but far enough from the hustle and bustle of a crowded neighborhood. The home was comfortable and nostalgic. Because we worked from sun up to sun down, we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful back yard / patio or the hot tub but hope to return again and mark that off the list! The Home Owner was awesome to work with and very accommodating! We'll be back!
Loved it. The owner is awesome! Went above and beyond the normal.
Perfect for our visit to Baylor. Kid-friendly, comfortable. Had all we needed for a great weekend away.
This spacious home in the country reminded me a lot of my parents (passed away recently) home. Nostalgic!
You will enjoy your stay. Good value.
While this is not a luxury rental, it was a great home for a pre-Christmas gathering for the family. There were plenty of pots and pans, cooking, serving and eating utensils to make a nice Christmas dinner to eat on the large dining room table. The hostess/owner was most gracious and made sure everything was to our satisfaction. Everything was in working order - but be aware the wifi is quite slow.
This house is lived in when not being rented which made it feel more like visiting a relatives house while they are away, so don't expect a hotel-like experience. The location was far enough out of town to be secluded and quiet, but close enough to Waco to get to Baylor and the down town area in 15 minutes. We quite liked it. And it was very reasonably priced - fitting for the type of rental it is.
Located near the Brazos river.
Five minutes from Homestead Farm.
Fifteen minutes from McLane Football
