About Torri Warner

We reside outside the area but our mother has lived in the Denver Metro area for 30+ years, so we have had the opportunity to use the cabin over the years. There are only three cabins on our side of the river. Our cabin and the two neighboring ones were built in the 1960’s and have been occupied by the original residents for all those years. Now in their 90s, they decided last summer that a warmer climate year round was best for them. So they allowed us first chance to purchase the property, and we did! You will love the views, fishing, hiking and serenity it provides.

Torri Warner purchased this house in 2015

Why Torri Warner chose Rocky Mountain National Park

We purchased this house in Spring 2015 with the hopes that our children and grandchildren will continue the tradition of spending fun, family time in the Colorado Rockies!

And until we can retire some years from now, we wanted to share this beautiful property with others and hope you make some fun memories with your friends and/or families like we have.

What makes this house unique

Its so relaxing and beautiful here. Each season brings different wild flowers and wild life, as well as changing water levels and flow speeds to the river. There is nothing so peaceful than falling to sleep to the sound of the river and waking to the songs of the wide variety birds that live here.

With lots of parks near by to explore and fun cities like Lyons, Estes Park and Boulder nearby to shop, eat and people watch, it is truly a great vacation or get away spot.

Exceeded our expectations!

My wife and I enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful setting. Our stay was private , since there were no neighbors present . The cabin was comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We look forward to a return visit.

Great place to relax and enjoy nature

  • 5 of 5

This home is located near the end of a private lane, so there is virtually no traffic or noise. The river on the opposite side of the lane has some small rapids which give a peaceful sound. Our grandkids enjoyed playing in the river. While there, we saw many squirrels and one day a deer was watching us from the bottom of the driveway. Lyons, Colorado, is just a few minutes away and is an interesting town with many events going on. Visiting Rocky Mountain National Park, which is only about a half hour away, is another fun thing to do. Just about five minutes up the county road is Button Rock Preserve, owned by the city of Longmont, which has several hiking trails and places to fish, etc. The home is extremely well equipped for your use, especially in the kitchen area. Also, the home "information book" includes a very large collection of brochures about the area and things to do nearby. The owner provided great communications and I highly recommend this location.

Perfect Mountain Get-a-way!

  • 5 of 5

Everything was great, above and beyond our expectations. The owner was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond to my questions. The cabin was perfect for our needs. Very roomy & so clean and well equipped, everything that we needed was there. Nothing was lacking! The view was beautiful with the river right below the cabin and just a short walk to sit and put our feet in. Plus the mountains and pine trees were all around us. Loved the close proximity to the neat little town of Lyons. Great place to do some shopping and dine out. And Estes Park just a short drive also. Definitely a "go back to" place!!
