About Torri Warner

We reside outside the area but our mother has lived in the Denver Metro area for 30+ years, so we have had the opportunity to use the cabin over the years. There are only three cabins on our side of the river. Our cabin and the two neighboring ones were built in the 1960’s and have been occupied by the original residents for all those years. Now in their 90s, they decided last summer that a warmer climate year round was best for them. So they allowed us first chance to purchase the property, and we did! You will love the views, fishing, hiking and serenity it provides.

Why Torri Warner chose Lyons

We purchased this house in Spring 2015 with the hopes that our children and grandchildren will continue the tradition of spending fun, family time in the Colorado Rockies!

And until we can retire some years from now, we wanted to share this beautiful property with others and hope you make some fun memories with your friends and/or families like we have.

What makes this house unique

Its so relaxing and beautiful here. Each season brings different wild flowers and wild life, as well as changing water levels and flow speeds to the river. There is nothing so peaceful than falling to sleep to the sound of the river and waking to the songs of the wide variety birds that live here.

With lots of parks near by to explore and fun cities like Lyons, Estes Park and Boulder nearby to shop, eat and people watch, it is truly a great vacation or get away spot.

Nicely equipped cottage in a very private but convenient location.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed here for 3 weeks visiting our grandchildren who live in Lyons. This was the best of both worlds. A perfect location in a private riverfront, mountain setting yet easy and quick access to Lyons and Estes Park. Beautiful setting with mountain views, and lots of hiking options close by. No issues during our stay, so we never had to contact Torri. She made checking in easy and provided all the information we needed well in advance. We would look forward to staying here again on our next visit.

Lovely Mountain Home - Great Location

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed here for the Rocky Mt Folks Fest in Lyons. It was the perfect location for hiking by day and festivating by night - solitary and tranquil but just five minutes from town! Fabulous views from the house (including tons of stars) and a great patio for coffee in the morning and wine at night.

Just as wonderful as last year!!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay and managed to extend our time here to two weeks. One week last summer was not enough time to enjoy everything this lovely cabin has to offer. The location is perfect if you like peace and quiet, and the most perfect view of the beautiful St. Vrain river. The cabin is equipped with everything you need and in great condition. Contacting Torri with any questions is always quick and easy. Thank you Torri for sharing your lovely cabin with us! Hoping to make our stay here an annual summer event!!

Cabin by the River

  • 5 of 5

There are so many activities at the doorstep to this cabin it was amazing. It may not seem like it when you drive up, but fishing on the river, hiking directly behind the house, as well as hiking up the button rock reservoir (2 mile drive) kept us plenty busy. We almost didn't have time to make it up to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park (we did find some time).

It was very hot (perhaps a little unseasonably highs in the mid-90s which I think is hot for 6400 ft) when we were there and we had wished there was air conditioning during the day, but as long as we kept the windows and shades closed during the day it usually cooled off between 5-7 pm (depending on if it rained in the afternoon). The listing was accurate though and we knew there would be no AC going in. Torri was great to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. We would recommend this place to anyone!
