House close to downtown stores and restaurants. Very clean and relaxing. Owners always in communication with us. We really enjoyed our experience with this VRBO.
The space in the property was good and location near town and grocery also good. The towels were in newer and good condition. The sheets and bedspreads were very dated. The carpeting was filthy and we could not put the baby on the floor to play due to this condition. One of the kitchen bar stools was broken. One of the 2 sinks in the upstairs 2nd bath was with an out of order sign and that bathroom had no shower, only a tub so all 6 of us had to take turns using the downstairs shower. Only 1 key was provided which as we often were going different places at different times, we had to leave the house unlocked. It would be helpful to have a key pad entry on the garage or front door for access.
This newly renovated house met most of our needs. The house was clean and had ample fans to offset the lack of AC. The location was a nice walk to the beach and downtown shopping area and just a stones throw from the Betsy Trail. My only complaint was the lack of kitchen linens and not enough towels to handle the needs of 5-12 people.
We enjoyed the location of the house. It was convenient to get around Frankfort and the open house plan allowed us all enough room! The only a couple things that could have been better; Long dark hair in the upstairs bathroom when we got there, some of the glasses needed to be rewashed, and the microwave was very finicky-I had to hold shut to work. But other than that the house was awesome and other wise spotless! We would rent there again!!
My friends and I rented the house for the weekend and wanted to be within walking distance to the beach and the downtown area and it worked out great from this location. The walk would be far for a family or someone who doesn't want to do a lot of walking though. The house was spacious and had plenty of room for us to come and go. Just wish there was more than one spare key.
Very affordable and comfortable quarters for a family vacation. My wife and I and three teenagers and our 21 year old son used this house as our home base for a great week exploring Frankfort and surrounding areas. Kitchen is amply appointed and the family room / dining room provides plenty of space. Only a short walk to downtown Frankfort. Kids rode their bikes to the beach. Great alternative to the crowded beaches of Florida.
