Townhome, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
We are native New Orleanians who currently live in both New orleans and New York. One of us is a writer and part-time designer, while the other is involved in commercial real estate and hospitality.
Owner purchased this Townhome in 2011
Why Owner chose Marigny
We bought the Cottage because we were looking for a uniquely New Orleans home in a uniquely New Orleans neighborhood. As we work in New Orleans part-time, this is our home when we are there.
What makes this Townhome unique
After those New Orleans nights, which frequently run late, involve lots of food and a 'few' cocktails, I love to crawl into the super-comfortable beds and fall into a deep slumber. Also, evenings in the courtyard and Jacuzzi are great because you can sip on a glass of wine, fire up the grill and watch the sun set behind the church steeples in the distance.

We love the home with great location, super clean and beautiful inside. We were surprise with how spacious it is and very artsy. Perfect spot for few days stay in Nola.
Thank you for sharing your lovely space with us. Look forward to return.
Really cool shotgun style home!
Staying in this house was so neat! Felt like we really lived in New Orleans for 3 days! Updates but still has original touches! The only negative was the hot tub was not as clean as expected but not a deal breaker!
Great Location, Comfortable living
I just finished my stay here and I was very impressed. The home was quite clean, roomy enough for my entire group, and was perfectly located about 5-7 minutes away from the French Quarter! There were also great local places within walking distance. Anyone staying at this property MUST try the ice cream shop that is literally a light stroll down the street!
Great house, great base for exploring New Orleans.
We stayed here with our kids, 17, 15 and 10. The house was really well equipped with plenty of room. It is a great base for exploring New Orleans. We walked to and from the French Quarter and took the 88 bus into the city if we were travelling to anywhere further. We also explored Fauburg Marigny and Bywater on foot.
The house was beautiful, clean and very well stocked with anything we needed. Great time was had by all!!! Thank you!
Homey and Quaint Cottage!
This cottage was the perfect place to stay on our recent visit to NOLA. Roomy with nicely painted walls and cozy decorating choices. A fully appointed kitchen, washer/dryer and TV/DVR/Cable. Very clean and quite charming!
