Why Catherine Taggart chose Old Orchard Beach
We fell in love with Old Orchard Beach, and the location of this cottage on the quieter side of town. Through the small motels on the beach you can just see the ocean which is literally 300 steps away. We can easily walk to the main street and The Pier for food, shopping & nightlife. If we want a quieter town atmosphere we can walk to Ocean Park for concerts and shuffleboard. We have also found several restaurants in Saco, Biddeford & Portland that we enjoy with the friends we've made on our street. Many people on Cedar Ave. are full time residents of OOB or weekenders that enjoy it all year. We love this area year round, and are happy to share it with you during the summer season. This picture is us eating Lisa's Pizza for the first time :-)
What makes this Cottage unique
The cottage was added on to in 2009 with the bunk room and new bathroom. We added in wood floors in the main bedroom and living room, as well as the heating/cooling units, wall mounted TVs, and a security system. In the Spring of 2017, we added an enclosed outdoor shower to make your beach vacation absolutely perfect. This 1920's cottage feels brand new.

Very clean, cute decor and close to beach!
This was a great vacation. The cottage is comfortable and very clean. It is well stocked with all the dishes and linens etc. that you could possibly need. It has a very nice gas BBQ and outdoor furniture. There is an outdoor shower also! Overall this was a fantastic place to stay and I hope I have an opportunity to do so again.
This cottage was perfect for my family of four!
We loved the location of this beach home! We were walking distance to everything we wanted to do. Close to the fun, but not too close. This cottage was clean and cozy and the décor was beach-appropriate and fun. We would rent here again.
Perfect beach cottage
This place was great for my family vacation. Everything was perfect and it's an easy walk to the beach. Will be renting again next season.
This cottage is supper cute and close to the beach and the pier.
This was our second year in a row rented this cute cottage and loved it!! We'll be back next year 😊
Quaint, clean, comfortable, short walk to the beach
We had a wonderful time staying here. It's in an excellent location just a short walk to both the beach and downtown OOB. The neighborhood is quiet. The cottage is lovely, cozy but comfortable and very well maintained. We loved the outdoor Cedar shower.
So happy you enjoyed staying here.
Very nice stay !!!
Nice and very clean place, what you see on the photos is what you get.....steps away to the beach. I highly recommend you wont be disappointed.
