What makes this apartment unique

Minutes away from the home is the Heydon Gardens. This 43 acres of lush gardens is one of the largest parks in Bermuda and also has 10 old buildings in it. There is also a chapel called Heydon Chapel inside the park. This is the smallest church in Bermuda built in 1620 and offers nondenominational services.

Enjoy a great swim at the Scotts Beach, only a few steps away from the home.

Traveling further along is Somerset Village which you can dine at one of the fine restaurants and Bars. You can obtain a souvenir at the Somerset pharmacy or enjoy a swim at Mangrove Bay.

Your next stop should be The Royal Naval Dockyard which once was the principal base of the Royal Navy in the Western Atlantic between American independence and the Cold War.

The Dockyard is now the home of Kings Wharf and a newly constructed Heritage Wharf which welcome the large cruise ships which visit Bermuda frequently. This location in the West End offers many attractions, Bermuda Maritime Museum, Dolphin Quest, Dockyard Glassworks, Clay works , Craft Markets and Art Centre. Spend the entire day, take in a movie, choice of restaurants and bars. Shopping can be done at the Clock Tower Mall.

Great Place to Stay in Bermuda

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I just got back from spending four very enjoyable nights at this spacious and very clean apartment. The owners are very nice people and they answered all of our questions. They showed us where the rail trail was and told us what we could see along the way, fronted us bus tokens and even brought us some Bermuda bananas.

The patio offers two water views where you can watch the sun both rise and set. The rooms in the apartment are large with plenty of windows for light and breezes. The bus stops very near by and from it you can get to Dockyard, the beaches, Hamilton or pretty much anywhere you want to go on the island. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this property to friends. TIP: When coming from the airport have your taxi driver stop at a market so you can pick up your supplies on the way to the apartment. There is one nearby by bus if you don't.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the wonderful review. It was our pleasure to host you. We're delighted that your stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you again for leaving the place neat and clean. Your suggestion for guests to stop at the store from the airport is great and so was your recommendation to have a broom and dust pan. We hope you will choose our home for your stay when you return to Bermuda.

We traveled to Bermuda for the America's Cup World Series Races. The view from the apartment balcony of the Great Sound was perfect to see the foiling boats practice off Spanish Point. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful and perfect for electric bicycles. The apartment is stunning and outfitted with a small kitchenette and spa like bathroom. The owner is wonderful and very helpful without getting in the way! Overall a perfect place for a visit to paradise. Thank you for opening your home to us.
