26 42nd Avenue is a gorgeous 6 bedroom 6 and a half bath home on the Isle of Palms complete with elevator and large pool. Located about four blocks from the ocean this home is a short five to ten minute walk to the beautiful white sand beaches. The home also has a beautiful backyard complete with a deck, pool and gas grill. The garage also has a golf cart and wagon with beach toys for your use during your stay. (3,840 Square Ft)

Beautifully Furnished, 3 Living Room Areas one on each floor. BOTTOM LEVEL: Large garage under the home with a shower and access to the back deck and pool.

MAIN FLOOR: Features two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Guestroom one has a queen size bed and private bath. Master Bedroom has a king size bed and a private bath. This floor also has a large kitchen with granite counter tops and a cook's kitchen with a gas stove top and stainless steel appliances. A separate dining area and spacious sitting room.

SECOND FLOOR: The second floor features a sitting area with a flat screen tv and two additional guestrooms. Guestroom 2 features a queen size bed and a private bath. Guestroom 3 features two twin beds and a private bath.

THIRD FLOOR: The third floor featuresa sitting area with a table and chairs and a flat screen tv with a futon and two additional guestrooms. Guestroom 4 features a queen size bed and a private bath. Guestroom 5 features two twin beds and private bath. *Each home includes free parking, initial supply of linens and towels, washer and dryer, color cable TV, air conditioning, starter supply of paper products and detergents, fully equipped kitchen with dinnerware, flatware, pots and pans, plus local telephone service. Nice home for Xmas get-away

Plenty of room for our family of 8 adults & 4 kids. Spacious, clean, and kitchen was well-stocked (even by chef standards!). There were many "nooks", including multiple entertainment areas - we enjoyed being under one roof but having our private spaces. This would have been a 5 star rating if we were given more than one roll of paper towels and three trash liners for our week-long stay. Also, a few minor miscommunications with the management company, but overall Carolina Rentals was responsive even when we called on Christmas eve.

We loved this home. It was great for our multiple families.

It was a good experience other than the fact there wasn't toilet paper in a couple of the bathrooms. There was an issue with a repairman not showing up for someone else's broken fixture when expected and then in & out for 2 days . It would have been nice if they could have waited until we had left. Other than those 2 things it was nice & would definitely consider that property again.

Lovely house perfect for a large family!

The house is absolutely gorgeous. We vacation every year with 8 adults and 3 children, and this home was perfect for us. There was plenty of room in this large house, and our biggest problem each day was deciding whether to hang out at the pool or the beach. It was very convenient having a golf cart to drive the block and a half to the beach, and the kitchen is truly a chef's kitchen! We enjoyed our stay so much, and we did not want to leave.

Great vacation!

We stayed in this lovely home with two other families and our young children. It was absolutely perfect, clean, well maintained, and had a very nice floorplan that worked well for our multiple families. The kitchen was well stocked and we prepared many meals for our group with ease. A couple minor maintenance issues were addressed promptly by the rental company. We were a bit concerned about the pool based on the pictures because between us we have a number of small children and it did not appear to have a fence around it, but we were pleasantly surprised to see a nice secure fence all around the pool and deck area when we arrived. We all really enjoyed the pool. The house was an easy walk to the beach and the included golf cart was a nice bonus. We had a great time!

Wonderful vacation!

After looking at many places, my family picked this home to spend our first vacation in over 10 years.The home clean, and close to the beach as advertised. The elevator was great to take luggage to the upper floors. It was spacious, giving us plenty of room for everyone to hangout and enjoy themselves. Having a separate area for the kids to watch movies and play video games was priceless. We will definitely keep this home in mind for our next vacation.
