Our home was built by our Uncle Larry and Aunt Nora, who are the Greatest People in the World! Their place is next door. The above photo shows a portion of our raucous gang (unfortunately missing from the photo are Uncle Larry, Aunt Nora and my brother, his wife and their 3 beautiful kids:) We are 30+ when we all get together! We have enjoyed some of the most memorable and fun times together as a family in Dingle.

Location, Location, Location!! :)
We had a fantastic time - the house is unbelievable - we enjoyed the views immensely, the wild surf, the rainbows, the calm, the stars..it was just so beautiful - my son and his friend even went surfing at the beach... We spent most of the time in Dingle - we went to two St. Patrick's Day parades ( the 6 am - ending in a 7 am mass (in Irish) at St. Mary's and the 12:45) - so much fun. We really felt right at home. Thank you so much. It will always hold a special place in our memories!
Just a quick note to say how wonderful our stay in Dingle was. The listing is accurate, the owner wonderful to work with and the peninsula breathtakingly panoramic. Many a evening spent watching the surf as the sun set behind the cliffs. The home was immaculate and quite spacious. Dingle was great for food and music. A rental car is a must but affords opportunity to explore the entire area. We hope to return.
The listing description hit it right on the head....panoramic ocean view! The home looks exactly as it does in the photos & is meticulously maintained. The owner, Dan, was extremely helpful from start to finish. I would NOT hesitate to rent again if I'm lucky enough to return some day. The Dingle area is rich in history, food, music & the people are so welcoming and comfortable!! There isn't a bad restaurant/bar in Dingle. Slainte!
My family and I stayed at this lovely house for the first half of our family trip to Ireland this August. We could not have been more pleased with the house. My brother even said that house was the best part of the trip -- this is because the breathtaking water views are absolutely unparalleled. On one clear night, I experienced the most beautiful star gazing of my life from the backyard-- there must have been a million bright stars overhead. My family also enjoyed walking to the nearby beach and taking hikes in the surrounding hills. You do need a car to get to Dingle town, but that worked out fine for us (it is a very short drive, and there are cabs available, as well). Lots to do in Dingle town -- unique pubs, traditional Irish music, and, of course, Fungie the Dingle dolphin! The house is also a great starting point for exploring everything else the peninsula has to offer (scenic drives, beaches, Conor Pass, etc.).
The owner Dan could not have been more helpful and communicative in providing us everything we needed to know and answering all our questions. The house also came stocked with everything we could possibly need in terms of linens, towels, and cooking supplies. The 6 of us fit very comfortably in the house, with room to spare.
The only "con" actually turned out to be somewhat of a "pro" -- the lack of TV/internet. Not having TV led to more family bonding time and other activities, and we were able to obtain internet access in town when we needed it (there is an internet cafe in town, and many of the restaurants have wifi). If we had planned in advance, there may have been a way to connect a device to our computers to get internet servcice, so I would recommend researching that option if you will need regular internet access during your stay. I would also recommend bringing or downloading movies or TV shows to your computer in advance if you feel you will need a TV or movie fix while there.
I would love to return to Dingle and would hands down stay in this house again when I do!
Dingle is renowned for live Irish music performances nightly in most of the pubs and restaurants throughout the Town! There is a large family-friendly Aquarium with an extensive collection of many species of indigenous fish, and the harbor is the home of the world famous dolphin Fungi, an inhabitant of Dingle for over 25 years! A spectacular Golf Course - Cean Sibeal - is only a 20-min. drive from the house -
