About Catherine Woram

Catherine Woram bought and renovated this House five years ago and she has transformed it into a beautiful and tranquil environment. Catherine Studied Fashion Design before becoming an Interior stylist and writer. She has published many books including Crafting with Kids and Felt Buttons and Beads. Many of the books are shot in the house. The house is also used in many photographic shots including Hello Magazine, The White Company. Her Husband Michael is an Architect who has designed many houses in the local area in London. They have two girls Jessica And Anna. One of the best compliments about the house came from a stylist who booked the house for a film shoot. She said she love booking the house because it is like coming to a spare retreat so tranquil and peaceful a sharp contrast to London's busy and hectic lifestyle

Catherine Woram purchased this house in 2003

Why Catherine Woram chose London

Wandsworth is on the south of the river from Knightsbridge and Fulham with easy access to the Centre of London twenty minutes away. Most of the area is populated by families who work in the city of London. they are drawn to Wandsworth because of ints many Parks and good schools. You also get larger properties for your money than you would in Chelsea and Knightsbridge. It has some fantastic restaurants locally like the Michelin Star Chez Bruce on Bellevue Road.

What makes this house unique

I think the overriding feel of the house is one of Tranquility. All the colours are muted off whites and pale blues Te view over the Park is amazing for central London. The house has fantastic entertaining space and a well equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are all individually designed and have a character of there own.

Lovely Home

  • 4 of 5

Our group of 11 enjoyed our week at the Elmbourne House. Michael and Catherine were very helpful in the arrangements and dealt with a small problem with the hot water heater when it arose. They even offered a free cleaning by the maid for the slight inconvenience. The rooms and furnishings were comfortable and adequate. The area is upscale and convenient to transportation. They returned our deposit in full and worked with our bank to get the transfer done. We would stay again if we had another London trip. Thanks for the lovely time.

Beautiful house and location

  • 5 of 5

The house is AMAZING! Beautifully presented and easy to find. Parking was easy too (and free). Booking was easy and any questions answered promptly. The house has everything you might need for a small function or just to relax in. The bi-folding doors open up the whole kitchen area. It was perfect. All the guests have been commenting on how lovely it was. Thank you so much!.

Amazing House - perfect weekend!

  • 5 of 5

We hired this house for my best friends hen doo. We used the garden and kitchen to recreate a white picnic party and the house fit the theme perfectly!

The location was ideal with free parking outside on the weekend.

Every single part of this house is truly amazing! The kitchen is massive and the doors open up into the garden. The decor was like something out of a photo shoot and made the perfect backdrop for the day.

There are no words to explain the master suite (a whole floor made up of three rooms!) and all the others were just as beautiful.

The house was spotless and very well maintained especially considering everything is white, we didn't see a mark anywhere!

Catherine was great at getting back to us and was really accommodating with our needs to have a few extra people over for the afternoon. The cleaner met us at the house and gave us the keys. The process was really easy and we had no problems when we were there. We got there at 12 midday and didn't have to be out until 3pm the next day which was perfect for us as we had a lot of decorations and food and drink to set up.

There was an info book on the table and free wifi.

The house is opposite a park too which we didn't use as the garden was so nice.

I would recommend this to anyone with a large group that is looking for something a little extra special. We only stayed for a night but we could have easily stayed for two and enjoyed the house.

Incredible find and memories made forever

Thank you

Jodie
