Romantic, Coastal, Arts and Crafts Style Cottage, originally built in 1918 by Zella Lee Gibson, as her painting studio. The cottage has been lovingly restored by the owners, a wine country interior designer and a general contractor. Perfect for the discriminating renter who wants the best of what Dillon Beach has to offer. Full Circle has received over 140 FIVE STAR reviews. This is very, very rare anywhere on the VRBO website and unheard of in Dillon Beach.
'Full Circle' has an all redwood interior, 17 foot high vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, 180 degree ocean view, filled with period antiques, lighting and original artwork. The cottage art and decor is a homage to the original inhabitants of the area, the Coastal Miwok Indians. Known as 'the cutest house in the village', at Dillon Beach. Located just 200 strides from the beach down Bumble Bee Path.
Upon check-in, you are welcomed with a bottle of Cline Cashmere wine (It tastes as smooth as it sounds), a fresh cut bouquet of flowers, Coast Roast coffee, a box of 4 custom Full Circle, Belgium chocolate truffles by Le Belge, live orchids, plush Turkish cotton bath sheets and robes, Terra Pure organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash and custom, hand made, organic Full Circle soaps from Hawaii. The two, new pillow-top queen size beds are made with 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, down comforters, down pillows and Pendleton Chief blankets. The fire is built and ready to light.
Wake up each morning to the sun streaming in the magnificent front gable, stained glass, church window. Watch the waves roll in on the beach from your bed in the loft. Spend your days relaxing in the plush Lloyd Flanders furniture on the patio and upper deck overlooking the ocean. Enjoy a sparkling clean hot tub with a whitewater ocean view and watch the sun set on the ocean. BBQ and have dinner under the stars on the deck. Make some memories while gathered around the outdoor fireplace. Fall asleep in plush beds to the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach.
A one of a kind place for that special occasion. The cottage has been featured in the Travel section of the New York Times, 'Elegant Bungalows' by Bethany Lyttle, on February 8th, 2008. It was also used as the set for the short film by Tarik Haddad, 'The Sound of a Yellow Flower', which played in the London Film Festival and the Dubai Film Festival's, among others. Gary William Kohler wrote and recorded a song about the cottage, 'Full Circle', that is included on his CD, 'Nowhere to be Found'.
This cottage is pure romantic bliss.
The cottage is meticulously maintained to the highest cleaning standards. It is cleaned with eco-friendly products for 5 to 6 hours between each guest and deep cleaned once a month for five hours. Down pillows are washed regularly and have pillow covers under the pillow cases. The Hot Springs spa has a sophisticated ozone filter system and is also thoroughly completely cleaned between each guest. The cleaning fee of $125 is a separate fee and paid at check-out.

Dillon Beach is an old fishing village built right after the turn of the century. You feel like your 1,000 miles from 'civilization' when you are there. It is like 'the town that time forgot' perched on the edge of the world, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tomales Bay.
This restored, all redwood artist studio, is truly a one-of-a-kind and the perfect place for a romantic getaway or just simple peace, quiet and solitude.
Historic property. Dramatic backyard ocean views, smells and sounds. All Redwood interior, 17' vaulted ceiling, loft, short walk to the beach. Good bones.
Once we arrived at the cottage we were speechless. The careful attention to detail from the craftsmanship of the home to the decor and amenities was amazing. I've personally worked in some very high end expensive places...some that go for over 3,000.00 a night and I would choose this place over those any day! For a couple it is one of the most romantic, charming place we could have imagined. I just want to say thank you to Tom for the opportunity to stay and share this wonderful place. The pictures were hard to believe but once we showed up it was apparent that the owners and caretakers go through a great deal to make this place special.
My wife and I had the good fortune to select Tom’s “full Circle” coastal cottage on a recent trip to the west coast. We had been looking for a quiet - comfortable get away close to the ocean and what we ended up with was a charming work of art overlooking the beach that exceeded our expectations.
The attention to detail in this cottage was inspiring to say the least. It was obvious as you walked into the cottage that Tom has put his heart and soul into every aspect of the property; from the impressive vintage style wiring powering the lights in the main room to the commercial grade appliances that blended easily into the gourmet kitchen to the back-yard oasis.
Now place this property just off the beach and a stone’s throw from some of the country’s most impressive coast lines along the pacific coast highway and you have a place that should be on your bucket list. Looking forward to our next visit.
This house is lovely beyond words! The view is amazing, the furnishings lovely, beds comfortable, hot tub and outdoor fireplace amazing.
We absolutely loved staying at Full Circle! Such a peaceful, relaxing place to get some quiet and some time to refresh and recharge. Beautiful beach cottage with so much history; nice furnishings and the hot tub is the perfect way to end the day. Thank you so much for sharing your home! Full Circle is truly a special place. :)
From the drive into Dillon Beach to our arrival at Full Circle, we could not get over how beautiful the entire area was. Full Circle is a beautifully decorated and immaculate home. We loved the story behind Full Circle and the beautiful art throughout the home with stories shared about each piece. The home provided everything we needed to make our stay comfortable plus much more. Wonderful wine and chocolates upon arrival. The fresh flowers throughout the home were enjoyed by all. The beds are super comfy! The views from inside the home and on the back porch were breathtaking. We spent lots of time on the beach which was a very short walk and we absolutely loved the back deck with the views, fireplace and hot tub. We also loved the little flower patch garden in the lot next to Full Circle that was starting to burst upon our arrival. The special touches throughout the house were noticed by all. Linda the caretaker is wonderful, also. We will be back someday and plan to stay much longer. Our visit was too short!!!
This was my first stay at Full Cicle, by far the best place to relax and renew. Everything was more than the pictures describe, clean, cozy, relaxing! I will be back many times throughout the year!
