Romantic, Coastal, Arts and Crafts Style Cottage, originally built in 1918 by Zella Lee Gibson, as her painting studio. The cottage has been lovingly restored by the owners, a wine country interior designer and a general contractor. Perfect for the discriminating renter who wants the best of what Dillon Beach has to offer. Full Circle has received over 100 FIVE STAR reviews. This is very, very rare anywhere on the VRBO website and unheard of in Dillon Beach.
'Full Circle' has an all redwood interior, 17 foot high vaulted ceilings, stained glass windows, 180 degree ocean view, filled with period antiques, lighting and original artwork. Known as 'the cutest house in the village', at Dillon Beach. Located just 200 strides from the beach.
Upon check-in, you are welcomed with a bottle of Cline Cashmere wine (It tastes as smooth as it sounds), a fresh cut bouquet of white Casa Blanca lilies, Coast Roast coffee, a box of 4 custom Full Circle, Belgium chocolate truffles by Le Belge, live orchids, plush Turkish cotton bath sheets and robes, Terra Pure organic shampoo, conditioner and body wash and custom, hand made, organic Full Circle soaps from Hawaii. The two, new pillow-top queen size beds are made with 800 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, down comforters, down pillows and Pendleton Chief blankets. The fire is built and ready to light.
Wake up each morning to the sun streaming in the magnificent front gable, stained glass, church window. Watch the waves roll in on the beach from your bed in the loft. Spend your days relaxing in the plush Lloyd Flanders furniture on the patio and upper deck overlooking the ocean. Enjoy a sparkling clean hot tub with a whitewater ocean view and watch the sun set on the ocean. BBQ and have dinner under the stars on the deck. Make some memories while gathered around the outdoor fireplace. Fall asleep in plush beds to the sounds of the waves breaking on the beach.
A one of a kind place for that special occasion. The cottage has been featured in the Travel section of the New York Times, 'Elegant Bungalows' by Bethany Lyttle, on February 8th, 2008. It was also used as the set for the short film by Tarik Haddad, 'The Sound of a Yellow Flower', which played in the London Film Festival and the Dubai Film Festival's, among others. Gary William Kohler wrote and recorded a song about the cottage, 'Full Circle', that is included on his CD, 'Nowhere to be Found'.
This cottage is pure romantic bliss.
The cottage is meticulously maintained to the highest cleaning standards. It is cleaned with eco-friendly products for 5 to 6 hours between each guest and deep cleaned once a month for five hours. Down pillows are washed regularly and have pillow covers under the pillow cases. The Hot Springs spa has a sophisticated ozone filter system and is also thoroughly completely cleaned between each guest. The cleaning fee of $125 is a separate fee and paid at check-out.

Dillon Beach is an old fishing village built right after the turn of the century. You feel like your 1,000 miles from 'civilization' when you are there. It is like 'the town that time forgot' perched on the edge of the world, overlooking the Pacific Ocean and Tomales Bay.
This restored, all redwood artist studio, is truly a one-of-a-kind and the perfect place for a romantic getaway or just simple peace, quiet and solitude.
Historic property. Dramatic backyard ocean views, smells and sounds. All Redwood interior, 17' vaulted ceiling, loft, short walk to the beach. Good bones.
Once we arrived at the cottage we were speechless. The careful attention to detail from the craftsmanship of the home to the decor and amenities was amazing. I've personally worked in some very high end expensive places...some that go for over 3,000.00 a night and I would choose this place over those any day! For a couple it is one of the most romantic, charming place we could have imagined. I just want to say thank you to Tom for the opportunity to stay and share this wonderful place. The pictures were hard to believe but once we showed up it was apparent that the owners and caretakers go through a great deal to make this place special.
This was a wonderful cottage for a getaway on my spring break. It was immaculate inside, extremely comfortable, and close to the beach. We enjoyed the ower's welcome special touches: flowers, candy, wine. I didn't want to leave, looking forward to our next trip to Dillion Beach.
The owner communicated in a timely manner with us.
The scenery was spectacular!
The cafe and general store were handy - and the folks that worked there were very friendly.
The house was very cute and cozy.
We would not say that the house is kept "meticulously" clean after each visit for 4-6 hours of cleaning for a 4 P.M. arrival time - lots of cobwebs and grease in kitchen since there is no hood for the stove.
Arrival times are getting later and later for the money it costs to stay - this house had one of the latest arrival times and we use VRBO 3-4 times per year.
Overall we had a nice stay!
My wife and I were looking to spend a few days away from the city on our recent trip to San Francisco and booked a few nights at Full Circle. Arrived and were greeted by Linda who showed us around and provided tips and info about the area. Very warm reception to start out time and make us feel at home. Settled in and made dinner in the great kitchen before relaxing with some wine to watch a beautiful sunset from the comfortable chairs in the front window (was very windy the afternoon we arrived). We were either in these chairs or on the deck most of our time depending on the temps. Slept in the loft, giving us a wonderful view of the bay and ocean...simply amazing! We walked the beach the next day for a few hours and then returned to relax on the deck as the day wound down. Another great sunset, this time from the chairs on the deck! This was the perfect place to unplug, relax and recharge. We knew there were not a lot of restaurant options at the time we visited (late March, during the week) and planned ahead to have items on hand to make our meals. We only left the property to walk the beach and visit the general store a few blocks down the street (again, VERY friendly staff who gave us some pointers on the area).
Our stay at Full Circle was wonderful, meeting all our expectations and then some! Plenty of amenities, even though we only used a portion of them...there is a little something for everyone here! THANK YOU to Tom and Linda for your helpful information and allowing us to to make some wonderful memories!
Extra note: We traveled up Hwy 1 from SF and it was an adventure in and of itself (winding roads and cliffs along the Pacific). Detoured out to the Point Reyes Lighthouse as we headed back south after we checked out. This was nearly a 3 hour excursion added to our return to SF, but WELL worth it...beautiful countryside, breathtaking natural views, not to mention seeing elephant seals, falcons, deer and a few whales!
My friends and I visit this house every year. Truly an exceptional property! The new pergola on the patio is lovely. We are already planning our next trip in 2017.
