Donna Griswold purchased this house in 2015
We have decided to share our beautiful beach getaway as as vacation rental for others to enjoy. The home has elegant touches throughout and best of all, when you step out the you are right on the beach!
No bank Waterfront. Kayaking, paddle boarding, beach-combing, salmon fishing from the shores and beautiful sunsets await you.
My family enjoyed staying at this beach house so much. It's very spacious, has luxurious bedding and a ton of towels. The managing person was very quick to reply to our questions and she was very helpful. We will definitely stay here again!
Doodles is a beautifully decorated, well appointed retreat on the beach at Mutiny Bay. The house had everything we needed for a girls getaway weekend including great linens. The only very slight issue was that we couldn't find the big coffee pot and the reusable Keurig pods didn't fit, but otherwise everything was perfect. Donna (the owner) was fantastic and couldn't be easier to work with. I highly recommend renting this outstanding house!
Our group with 3 couples and 2 children found the place to be great. The kids played on the beach and everyone managed to find a space of their own.
Donna's house on Mutiny Bay was welcoming and a perfect getaway for a wedding weekend. The three bed, three bath configuration was perfect for our wedding party. We loved staying there and hope to go back soon. Donna was also very easy to communicate with and a lovely host. Thanks!
We had a great 4 days. We loved the view of the Olympics at any time of the day from the main living room and kitchen upstairs, or any location on the deck/ by the firepit. We saw osprey, eagle, and herron, friendly neighbor's, friendly dogs. Donna was very responsive to questions- the towels were soft, the beds were comfy, and the sofa was great for naps. I'll throw 5 stars, but the two items the kids were looking forward to that seemed novel to them made us a little sad (missing chairs downstairs at the poker table- but the game room space was GREAT for allowing teens to seperate from grownups!) and the waffle maker...which just broke the week before and is being replaced. Yes... I know we can buy our own- but the list of items said they would be there, so we had plans made. It was otherwise perfect. We are very grateful.
We stayed at this gorgeous house for a weekend with my family and parents. All of us agreed that the view and location were unbeatable. Having the majority of the living space on the top floor made it so even on the stormy days you felt like you were on the beach. The decor is lovely and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and plenty of room for my two kids, my parents and my husband and myself. My daughter's loved the cozy bunk beds, and felt they had their own space to snuggle up and read a book. The sound of the frogs at night as you fell asleep was an added bonus. A great beach for walking, and very close to Freeland where you can get anything you need at the grocery store. The owner was very easy to work with and accommodating. We can't wait to come back!
Halibut fishing in May; Dungeness crabbing Jul-Aug, Oct-Dec. Salmon (Coho and Kings) from July through Sept; Humpies in odd years.
