My name is Paolo. I was born and grew up in Rome and I do love my city. I use to travel abroad renting apartments and I and my wife Raffaella decided to do the same with who want to spend a few days in the Eternal City. We try to do our best to make your stay as comfortable, cozy and unforgettable as possible. I offer assistance 24/24 and 7/7.
The Owner purchased this apartment in 2009
There were seven of us staying and this was such a great location. Just a five minute walk to either the Colosseum, St. John Lateran or San Clemente Basilica (where the three stories of archeological history was simply amazing). Paolo was so accommodating and easy to reach by phone or e-mail. We arrived rather early on a red-eye flight from the states and it was great to be able to drop our luggage before being able to check-in and just run and enjoy some of the sights before check-in time. I had a question the night of our arrival and I posted an e-mail using the wifi at the apartment and to my surprise, Paolo called the apartment phone within two minutes. Now that is service! The apartment was large enough for all 7 and the two bathrooms made it ideal for our two families staying there. This is a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Rome. Thank you Paolo for all of your help and advice while we were there!
This modern 3 bedroom with loft apartment was nicely decorated, well-equipped, air conditioned, exceptionally clean, comfortable apartment was conveniently located near the Colosseum and Metro. Comfortable beds, spacious living space, and two bathrooms were more than adequate during our 3 day stay prior to our cruise for 8 adult women. We used the kitchen for simple breakfasts and keeping beverages cold.
Paolo provided exceptional customer service from the time we booked until we departed. He went above and beyond greeting each group that arrived at 3 different times. His recommendations for dining and gelato as well as directions/maps/WiFi instructions were fabulous! Highly recommend not only this location but the wonderful host Paolo. Cannot wait to return to Rome to stay here again.
We had a great stay at Paolo's apartment. Perfect for 6-8 people. Very spacious rooms with separate kitchen and dining/lounge area. Really lovely, big and thoughtfully designed. It was great for us (8 people). The location is perfect; a short walk to everything, yet hidden away from the crowds. Paolo was helpful and flexible at every stage, providing suggestions and helping with reservations. We'll surely recommend this apartment and Paolo's services to family and friends. We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Rome.
This was a 3 bedroom apartment (one of the BRs has a interior balcony with another bed). We stayed there for a week (July 31 - August 7). It was indeed spacious for our 4 person group. The beds were very comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great (a must since Rome was so hot while we were there). We cooked in one night, and the kitchen worked well. It's a typical small Rome kitchen, but there was plenty of room. Lots of dishes and pots and silverware. It could use some more sharp knives and a vegetable peeler. The coffee maker and toaster worked great. The television had many channels, too. In the living room were a nice table that seats 6 and two large couches.
The apartment was super-clean, and the bathrooms up to date. The master BR has its own bathroom (with a very small shower, typical of Italy.) The hall bathroom had a large shower. There were plenty of nice towels.
There is a washing machine on the narrow balcony, and plenty of clotheslines and clothes pins for hanging laundry to dry (plus a large drying rack for use either outside or in). The ironing board and iron worked very well.
The building is well-maintained, with an elevator to the 6th floor, where this apartment is located. There is a day watchman.
Paolo and his assistant met us right on time, and they gave us a map of Rome along with a lot of great suggestions for where to go and eat. We followed Paolo's advice and were happy every time. I recommend taking him up on the offer of a taxi from the airport. The driver was on time and very nice and even gave us some "tourist" information. Paolo also arranged a taxi to take us to the train station when we left to go to Venice. Again, the driver was on time, very nice, and informative.
The location is terrific, just a few blocks from the Colosseum. It was about a 10 minute walk to either the A or B line of the Metro. The neighborhood is full of good restaurants, and there is a small but comprehensive supermarket about 8 minutes walk away. We felt like the Colosseum was our neighbor.
All in all, a terrific apartment a really good base of operations, and a great place to spend time in while in Rome. I highly recommend it.
The apartment and the family that own it are both fantastic! They even offer car service from the airport and tours of Rome.
Great experience in a large, clean, comfortable apartment!
This apartment was larger & nicer than expected, especially for the price! There were only 3 of us but it can easily fit more as we didn't even use 1/2 the beds! It also had a lot of "extras" in the place (unfortunately we weren't there long enough to enjoy it all!). Only semi-bad thing I can say is that the beds are pretty hard but they worked after long hot days of walking everywhere!
The location was excellent! Whether it was walking to the Colosseum, getting dinner or just a quick snack or hopping on the local train(?), everything was so close!
Paolo was so quick to respond while booking which was VERY important to us. He was extremely helpful in telling us what to see in our short time we were there & he arranged a ride back to the airport-highly recommended as it was actually cheaper & way faster than the train we took on the way there (40 minutes vs a little over 2 hours by train) not to mention the driver was great!
We will definitely be back to Rome & would stay here again in a heartbeat!
