Private two bedroom, 1,200 square foot Pan-Abode cottage in a unique setting at Bass Lake between Owen Sound and Wiarton. This cottage has features such as solid cedar walls, cathedral ceilings, and skylights throughout to create a bright open atmosphere. The large back deck spans the entire length of the cottage, and has beautiful lake views, is sheltered from the wind by trees and is the ideal spot to BBQ and enjoy an outdoor meal at the picnic table. There is also smaller front deck, with sitting area. Inside, there is plenty of space for everyone in the party to unwind. You can enjoy the view of the lake from the living room, and on cool evenings sit by the glow of the fire in the woodstove. At the other end of the living area is a dining table with seating for everyone in your party to enjoy a meal or a game of cards. In the separate den, there is comfortable seating for four to sit back and enjoy the smart tv system. The new kitchen comes complete with all the necessities including fridge, stove and microwave. There are two bedrooms at the cottage. The master bedroom has a king bed with a walk-out to the back deck, and the second bedroom has two singles. The one bathroom at the cottage is a three piece with large walk-in shower with both a rain-shower head and handheld. The trail down to the lakefront is about 100 feet leading to the water and is rough terrain through boulders, and is therefore not suitable for toddlers or people with mobility issues. Once you reach the shoreline, enjoy the dock at the water's edge. The depth of the water provides a great place to dive into the lake and is sure to be a hit with the swimmers in your group. There is great fishing right off the end of the dock. Bass Lake has a maximum depth of 100 feet and is a great inland lake for swimmers. The cottage is centrally located between Wiarton and Owen Sound, making day trips to hot spots like Tobermory and Sauble Beach easy-Maximum number of people 4

The lake is deep off the dock. There is a spot next to the dock where kids and pets can wade in but it mostly rocks and not really a play area. Swim Shoes are recommended. Shoreline is not suitable for toddlers.
