About Terry Holden

We live in Florida but love coming to Lake Oconee to our lakefront getaway. We never feel more relaxed than when we're at our lakehome. It's the perfect place for family gatherings. We love boating, waterskiing, tubing, going to the jumping rock, or relaxing at the Ritz Carlton on the lake. We also love the wonderful restaurants and shops that are in the area....plenty to do if you want to!

Terry Holden purchased this cabin in 2002

Why Terry Holden chose Lake Oconee

Awesome area....beautiful lake. Plenty to do whether it's water sports, golf, antiquing, dining out, or just relaxing. Nearby to Atlanta, Augusta or Athens, but not too close! You feel like you're worlds away....

What makes this cabin unique

Complete relaxation! The cabin is so comfortable, plenty of room but doesn't lose it's cozy feel. We get many compliments on the comfort and beauty of our home. People love the back porch and tell us they 'live out there.' The boating and fishing from our private dock can't be beat. We are located at the desirable southend of Lake Oconee....beautiful water and very peaceful.

Fantastic Lake Home

  • 5 of 5

Our family had an amazing time staying at your beautiful lake home over the 4th of July weekend! The house was awesome, from the huge screened in back porch, perfect game room, great kitchen - to the deep water dock with its own slide - couldn't have asked for a better experience. Spent nearly an entire day on the lake, rented a boat and went tubing - and girls jumped off the jumping rock! Played a round of golf at Harbor Club and had a great dinner at the local favorite - Silver Moon! Would definitely recommend this property and hope to make back for another visit in the future.

Beautiful Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Thank you for allowing us to stay at your beautiful cabin. It was very spacious. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook with and to have meals there. The granddaughters had a wonderful time, skiing , riding on the tube. riding our jet ski, and fishing. They also enjoyed your wonderful game room. We, along with our granddaughters, loved your cabin. We would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting to have a nice place to stay , and wanting to have a good time.

Wonderful time!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful time over new years weekend at the lake house. It was very comfortable for 6 adults including 4 college kids. The house was exceptionally clean, the beds are comfortable, and the game room was a hit. It was cold and we made good use of the wood stove which really warmed the house. We had a relaxing and fun weekend and look forward to returning in the future.

Fantastic vacation.

  • 5 of 5

The lake house was absolutely beautiful. We spent 4 nights. The tri-level home afforded privacy when needed and was large enough to accommodate all in our party. The game room was a draw for all. Relaxing, fun, and stress-free. The screened in porch was a winner and the dock with slide was a hit with the kids. My daughter caught 4 catfish off the dock the last day we were there (all were caught and released.) Great place. Highly recommend it.

Fabulous stay!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our week at the lake! When we started planning our trip, we knew we wanted our own private dock on a secluded cove, a game room and a "lodge-like" house that would sleep up to 8 people comfortably. All of our needs were met, and more! We absolutely love the screened in porch with the spectacular views of the lake--just perfect for morning coffee, evening wine, reading a book and listening to the rain fall. We loved being nestled in a remote location, yet close enough to drive or boat to many great restaurants and of course, The Ritz-Carlton. We rented jet skis and a ski boat and had a fabulous time tubing, kneeboarding and wake surfing--most times with the gorgeous lake to ourselves. The house was well-stocked, very clean and extremely comfortable-and we cannot wait to book a return visit! Thank you Holden family!
