Location, Location No Car Required. You are walking distance to the St Charles Streetcar and Magazine bus line. Both will get you from Audubon Park to the French quarter in no time.

The house is a Charming Shotgun in the heart of the Garden District. New renovation, 12 foot ceiling, completely refinished 100 year old hardwood floors. Lots of light and space, Spotless! It is set up like a Hotel! A traditional New Orleans Shotgun, means that it is a walk through apartment. Best for 1 or 2 couples or families with 2 kids. It's a fully furnished short term rental apartment. New furniture and 400 thread count sheets. Everything you'll need. Family friendly. You even have your own garden district porch, for your morning coffee or to have a poboy from the local poboy, Mahoney's, 2 blocks, shop. :-)

Located In the Garden District just steps to the shops on Famous Magazine Street. Plenty of Local shops, Clothing, Art Galleries, and more. Really dozen's of Restaurants a steps away. Cafes, Bars etc.

Great location

Overall the place was wonderful. In a great location where you can walk Magazine Street and catch the streetcar several blocks away. The apartment was spacious too. There was no closet or hangers or any of the little extras that many other places offer. The owner was easy to work with and the place was nice and clean. Dog friendly place too!

Great neighborhood, great location, gracious owner.

This was our first stay at this property and we really enjoyed our time here. Upon arrival, the place was clean and looked exactly like the pictures. We had everything that we needed during our stay - including a coffee maker (with coffee). The neighborhood was very peaceful and I enjoyed sitting on the front porch sipping coffee in the morning. The property is half a block from Magazine street - where there are many options for food, drink, and shopping - and four blocks (or so) from St. Charles Street where you can catch the street car directly to the French Quarter. There are several nearby bus stops if you want venture further - no need for a car here, in my opinion. The owner was very responsive to my questions and very accommodating during out stay.

I highly recommend this property for a great New Orleans experience - you won't be disappointed.

Sweet Property in Excellent Location

This property is exactly as depicted.


1.) Owner was gracious and very easy to work with. We booked at last minute and then had to push out another day. Sidney was great. We are frequent visitors to NOLA so we did not need him to meet us, but his apartment had maps and local magazines that were helpful.

2.) CLEAN!!! This place was very clean with several high quality towels and bed linens.

3.) Location. This home is about fifty steps off Magazine Street which is filled for miles in each direction with restaurants, eateries, quaint shops, etc. The bus that you can catch on the corner takes you to French Quarter and back from early morning to late at night. Very convenient if you don't have a car. We have always stayed in French Quarter before for several years, but this place will be our new go-to.

4.) Well appointed. Everything you might need is in the apartment-wine glasses, coffee mugs, etc. However, note that you might not find everything you want or need to prepare a large meal, but who comes to NOLA to eat at home anyway?

The only negative (and this really didn't bother us but it might bother others) was that the home is quite old in a beautiful section of the Garden District, and with that patina of age you get an old bathtub. This one was rusted and in need or re-coating. Again, not a big deal to us, but some might find it so.

WE can't wait to come back!

Location, Location, Location!

If you want to experience New Orleans on your own terms, this is the place for you. Perfectly located in the Garden District, you feel like you are part of the neighborhood. You are a short walk to the St. Charles street car for a short ride to the French Quarter or to Loyola/Tulane. You are a short walk to all the shops, restaurants and bars the Garden District offers. The flat is well equipped for all of your needs. I wish the window coverings blocked out more of the morning sun. The walking tour of the Garden District and the Voodoo tour were a blast! Check out the Pyrania, it is a true neighborhood bar!

Location Location

This flat was perfect for my husband and I. We spent 5 nights in NOLA and loved every minute of it.

This flat was in the perfect location. A 5min walk one way took us to the trolly that brought us downtown to Bourban St. A 5min walk the other direction took us to the hop on hop off double decker bus that also took us downtown.

The flat itself is in the Garden district which is absolutely gorgeous. It's only a block away from Magazine St which has lots of restaurants and shops. And we felt safe our whole time even walking at night. We will definitely be returning.
