Overview

About the property

Lovely two bedroom Viceroy waterfront cottage, with sleeping cabin, on a secluded point of land south of Johnson Harbour.

This tastefully decorated cottage comes with all the comforts of home including a sunken living room, cathedral ceilings, large glass windows facing the lake, and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and microwave. The cottage also comes equipped with full laundry facilities, and a four-piece bath featuring a whirlpool tub to relax in on a brand new deck.

The cottage has two large bedrooms, each with their own private deck facing the lake. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, while the second bedroom offers a double bed and a set of single bunkbeds.

The sleeping cabin offers the perfect escape - it even has it's own private deck! The interior of the cabin is also tastefully decorated with a double bed, chair, and coffee table.

The cottage is located on a large private lot facing Lake Huron. The lot is flat, and has a large lawn interspersed with pine, tamarack and cedar trees.

At the edge of the lawn is a sizeable man-made sand beach with chaise lounge chairs.

There is also a 200 ft long wooden boardwalk leading from the cottage down to a lakeside deck. This is the perfect place to relax with a book and take in the serene sounds of the water.

On the shoreline is the fire pit, where the kids can sit at night cooking smors and gazing at the magnificent dark skies that the Bruce Peninsula has to offer.

The shoreline consists of flat limestone rock and the water gets deeper gradually. Since the cottage is located on a point of land, the lake has many different faces - some days calm, other days wavy.

The cottage is located at the end of a dead end road. Land further down the shoreline forms part of Bruce Peninsula National Park. You therefore have miles of undeveloped shoreline to walk along and enjoy a pristine environment. If you wish to visit Tobermory it is just 25 km away, with its natural harbour with shops and restaurants and the opportunity for boat tours. There is much to enjoy!
