Overview

About the property

Beautiful, charming 2400 sq ft Waubaushene cottage located on the shores of stunning Georgian Bay. This four bedroom, two bathroom cottage is the perfect spot to enjoy a getaway with your family.

Upon entering the cottage you'll find a warm and inviting living room space with two couches to relax in and enjoy the great view of the lake from the many windows. The beautiful hardwood floors and tongue-and-groove pine walls gives this room a true cottage feel. There is no television signal and no distractions, so you can truly get away!

The tile-floored kitchen provides you with many of the amenities of home during your stay - it is complete with fridge/freezer, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and more. There is an island and stool, the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee before the kids are awake! Just adjacent to this is the dining area, with a table surrounded by six chairs (there are additional chairs as well).

On the main level of the cottage you will find two bedrooms and one bathroom (a four-piece). Both bedrooms have a ceiling fan and bright windows, the first bedroom has a double bed and the second room also a double bed and a set of single bunk beds. Both of these bedrooms have hardwood floors and tongue-and-groove pine walls.

Back in the living room you'll find the stairs to the upper level. At the top of the landing is a cozy reading nook area with 2 love seats and a view down to the lower level. There is a bathroom on this second level too - it is a three-piece. There are two additional bedrooms on this level. One has a double bed and the other a queen. They both have a ceiling fan and tongue-and-groove pine walls and floors.

There is a propane BBQ available for your use so that you can cook up the perfect meal. A clothesline is also there for your convenience.

This cottage is private as there is great natural screening on three sides. The fourth side is direct on the waterfront. The shoreline at the cottage is flat limestone with sloped entry into the water. The bottom of the bay is a mixture of sand and bedrock.

Along the lakeside of the cottage you'll find a deck with Muskoka chairs, so you can sit and enjoy this beautiful waterfront view and take in a sunset. Don't forget to relax and enjoy this peaceful, natural setting!
