We are New Orleans natives that built a second home in 1998 in Bay St. Louis and retired there fulltime in 2004. We love saving and restoring old houses because of their charm and character. After losing our home to Katrina, we found and restored an old home a short distance from our original home site to return to Bay St. Louis full-time. We had purchased this cottage on Main Street in Old Town in 2004 to be a vacation rental and embarked on a total renovation. Hurricane Katrina interrupted that and required us to perform additional renovation work to complete the project. With the need for long-term housing, we rented the cottage to several locals waiting for their homes to be rebuilt. The first apartment in the cottage was placed in the vacation rental market in late 2010 and has proven itself as a comfortable home away. We have decided to add this other side in December 2011 because of the great feedback from our guests. We are hoping to restore more old homes in Bay St. Louis.

We love renovating old homes and found this dilapidated vine covered cottage just waiting for someone to take care of it! It's location in Old Town makes it ideal as a vacation rental to allow our guests to be in the middle of what makes Bay St. Louis so special!
The location allows our guests to be a part of Old Town and shop and eat without ever having to get in a car.
Thank you sooo00 much Sandy for the Warm Welcome & the Southern Hospitality. The Cottage was very comfortable and family ready. Bay St. Louis, Mississippi is a beautiful city with beautiful people and our family will most definitely be visiting you all again in the future. Thanks for everything!
Very clean and comfortable. Excellent location!
"Latitude Adjustment" was a great location and nice place to stay. We walked everywhere except the beach. Too much stuff to carry. I would certainly recommend it for a family. We loved our visit to Bay St Louis and we will return!
The cottage is spacious, comfortable and well-appointed. Everything we needed was there and the cottage was clean and maintained well. The kitchen was well-equipped and fully functional and the front porch and back porch were delightful. It is close to Old Town making it very convenient. We all enjoyed our stay. Thank you Joey.
Really enjoyed our stay here; great location, clean, and quiet. I'd have two suggestions: For anyone needing internet this wouldn't be the place - it was always REALLY difficult to get a connection of any kind, and the full/queen bed has a mattress that is far too soft.
We really enjoyed our month's stay at the Bay Cottages in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. It was very accommodating for us and very close to the boutiques and restaurants. We appreciated the friendliness and wonderful hospitality of the people. The cottage is in a very quaint little town with very much character and yet close enough to travel to New Orleans, the plantations, Biloxi, and drive along the gulf coast. We highly recommend this place to people who want a relaxing place to stay. The owners are very caring people and the manager of the property is very willing to assist with any question or concern.
The property was a beautiful blast from the past with tongue and groove bead board and hard wood floors. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was nicely equipped, though restaurants are nearby for those who do not want to cook. I will definitely come again.
We are centrally located allowing you easy access to all activities along the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
