WITHOUT DOUBT, FROM THE HOUSE, WE HAVE, POSSIBLY, THE MOST AMAZING VIEWS IN THE VAIL VALLEY. OUR HOME BEING HIGH IN THE ROCKY MOUNTAINS, ALL OF THE RESPECTIVE SEASONS ARE UNIQUE IN THEIR OWN WAYS. FOR EXAMPLE, AS SPRING TURNS TO SUMMER, THE ARRAY OF ALPINE FLOWERS IS A FEAST FOR THE EYES – THE ABUNDANCE OF LIVE, OUTDOOR AND INDOOR, ENTERTAINMENT SPOILS YOU FOR CHOICE; IT CAN RANGE FROM CLASSICAL CONCERTS GIVEN BY THE NEW YORK PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA TO FULL ROCK CONCERTS. I asked a friend, apart from the incredible views of course, what she thought was the best feature of our home. She replied, 'Privacy! By that I mean, everyone can be together yet, can find seclusion and privacy in the house, if that's what they want.'
The house is well situated for those who want access to both BEAVER CREEK & VAIL plus other resorts. The house is around 12 minutes from Beaver Creek Village and around 18 minutes from Vail. You will DEFINITELY need a vehicle to live up here. There is no shuttle service.
IT GETS EVEN BETTER! No longer do you have to go to Beaver Creek Village to gain access to the ski terrain. There is a fantastic addition, running from the Westin Hotel. It is a new Gondola ski lift traveling right from the valley floor; plus, a great way to get up Beaver Creek Mountain is out of Arrowhead. You will be transported to the, uncrowded Bachelor Gulch ski area of Beaver Creek resort; site of the Ritz Carlton Hotel – a great lunch spot.
From the deck of our home, you see views of Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch, Arrowhead and the Wasach Mountain ranges; most of the year, you see snow capped peaks towering above 13 or 14,000 feet. Such, ‘to die for’ views, simply cannot be seen from Beaver Creek itself.
Added to this, our luxurious home is a wonderful place to put your feet up after a day of, almost, any activity you choose. The, mostly, sun-drenched house is in a Cul-de-Sac; therefore it is very quiet. The, NON SMOKING, house sleeps 10 (4 bedrooms; one of which is great for getting down time from the kids, if you want that. Our home has a master suite (newly refurbished & decorated) with King bed and walk in closet.

The remaining 3 bedrooms, (one of which can sleep 2 extra with the inclusion of 2 bunk beds; great for kids!), have Queen beds, also have their own, en-suite bathrooms. Outside of the double garage there is parking space for numerous more vehicles.
The main floor! This is the best vantage for the great views. It includes a very large lounge room (soft furnishings & dining area) with a grand, gas fireplace and cathedral ceiling, deck, full spacious kitchen, master suite, powder room, laundry room and powerful stereo system (including an iPod connection). Naturally, there is Wifi.
The first/ground floor has an entrance hall with coat closet, two of the queen size bedrooms are also situated on this floor. Inside the double garage there is a full free weight training facility, ski room for storing boots and other ski gear. There is a large ski rack too.
I doubt you'll be disappointed. Nobody ever is. AN ALL-AROUND, INCREDIBLE PLACE TO SPEND TIME! We look forward to seeing you at our gorgeous home very soon! Wishing you all safe travels.

Why do we still choose to live in our home? The answer is simple - we've found nowhere else that can offer such magnificent views and persistent sunshine. How about, on average, 300 days a year.
Again, those, almost, unbeatable views! Due to the copious amounts of sunshine (average 300 days per year), it is a house of light with very large windows. As a result, the house always feels spacious; of course, it is anyway.
We stayed in this house over Christmas holidays. We were two families with 4 teenagers. The house was spacious, clean and very comfortable. You have everything one needs for cooking in the kitchen, enough towels , extra sheets and blankets in all bedrooms. It's warm and cozy with amazing view from every window.
We even saw deers and rabbits around the house while walking in the neighborhood.
You need a car to drive to sky slopes, grocery shopping . We also drove to Vail, Breakenridge and Frisko .
Another great month at Chalky and Lynn's house! This is a great home away from home and we are always grateful for the time we spend here. Well appointed, comfortable, convenient… everything you could ask for in a rental. We rented for the month of January and we live close enough that we can travel back and forth on weekends, although some of us opt to stay and "work" from the house, since it has wi-fi and (at least with our AT&T plan) great cell coverage. Quick drive to the slopes, groceries and restaurants. Beaver Creek has a lot to offer and you can enjoy it all from this home. Thanks Chalky and Lynn!
Superb Value for a beautiful home! We have rented many ski homes at many different resorts and this one may be the best value we have found. Extremely comfortable, outstanding character, tremendous views and a terrific owner. We had a great snowy week and although it is high up on the mountain the roads were extremely well maintained and a snow plow was clearing out the driveway every morning!!
This is the third year we have rented this home and it continues to be our favorite vacation spot. We have come to really enjoy and appreciate renting from Chalky and Lynn. They have a BEAUTIFUL home and doing business with them has been a pleasure.
As we have rented this home, we learn to appreciate its location, fantastic view and completely adequate accommodations more each year. We have slept as many as nine people (with an air mattress that we brought). The property is easy to access and is close to just about any outdoor or shopping/dining experience you want. I can't say enough about how much we enjoy this home.
My family has had a great ski season while enjoying the comforts of home at this amazing property! Truly we had everything we needed… space for everyone to have their privacy, yet a great family room for us to all come together! The family room is perfect: kick back and enjoy the views, defrost after a great day of skiing in front of the fireplace, gather to play a board game. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, and the dining table is large enough for our whole family to sit and enjoy dinner together. The house is clean and well-kept, beds are comfortable and the deck perfect for barbecues. It's been great to ski hard at Beaver Creek, knowing that "home" is just 15 minutes away! The property also has dependable wi-fi, so you can work and ski during the week, which is a great convenience! I would highly recommend this vacation home to all of my friends.
