Why James Quinn chose Cumbre del Sol
I love this part of Spain for its unique combination of excellent climate, stunning sea views and great food. It is very easy to get around with no traffic jams and easy parking. Cumbre del Sol is a quiet residential area untroubled by road or aircraft noise and yet it is within a few minutes drive of lively seaside towns such as Moraira and Javea.
What makes this Villa unique
I designed this house myself, ensuring that the kitchen, main reception room and three bedrooms benefitted from the exceptional sea view. The fourth bedroom/TV room is deliberately at the back of the house, well isolated from the terrace so that adults can enjoy a relaxing evening on the terrace, overlooking the sea and untroubled by noise.

Beautiful villa with beautiful views
I can't praise this villa highly enough. The pictures don't do it justice, it is really beautiful. It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. Located in a quiet residential area, but convenient to bars, shops and beaches.
James was great to deal with when booking, responding to all our questions promptly. The local managers, Andy and Jacqui are also very helpful, they even got up at 2am when we arrived and were lost. They also provided us with lots of useful information about the local area.
Stunning sea views from a beautiful villa
We had 3 wonderful weeks in this villa - it was clean, comfortable and very easy to feel at home. It's located in a quiet residential area, so a peaceful night's sleep is guaranteed. Parking is available directly outside. The property manager is English and lives nearby, so there's no problem if you need help. Good choice of supermarkets nearby and restaurants can be found in Moraira, a 10 minute drive away, or other surrounding towns. We loved eating outside on the terrace, enjoying the amazing view of the Med. The Javea lighthouse can be seen in the distance, shining reassuringly at night. We hope to return to this villa again in the future and would definitely recommend it to our family and friends.
Great villa, wonderful location
We enjoyed a wonderful week here, soaking up some late summer sun. Cumbre del Sol is very accessible from the airport (we flew to Alicante), and the villa itself was both spacious and practical. All the rooms were well equipped, and the outside area is great. The views are incredible, and we particularly enjoyed sitting out by the pool, watching the sun set and the lighthouse switching on away over the cliffs to the west. There's a great choice of beaches in the immediate vicinity - from sandy expanses in the nearby towns of Javea and Moraire to the rockier cove at Cumbre del Sol itself.
We found some excellent half day hikes in the area, particularly enjoying stretches of the coast path that runs from Cumbre del Sol to Moraire (though sturdy shoes and a relaxed attitude to cliff-edge health and safety are required!). We would also recommend a visit to the beautiful old centre of Valencia. The logistics are perhaps more difficult than visiting the aquarium or science park at the edge of the city, but we found it reasonably straightforward to drive to the northern suburbs (just off the motorway) and take the metro in to the centre.
Overall, we had a very relaxing stay at the villa and thoroughly enjoyed the week.
Stunning villa in a beautiful location. This holiday was everything we had hoped for. The villa was well laid out and facilities wonderful. We spent peaceful days by the pool and the patio area was superb with stunning views across the coast in both directions. We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend a week or fortnights stay as there was plenty to do with many fantastic restaurants offering an array of tasty food near by. We also drove 40 mins to Aqualandia for the day a must with children. The commute from Alicante airport was a lovely drive and we reached our destination quickly and with no problems. Already planning our next break away to this lovely villa.
Great Holiday August, 2012
The villa is situated in a fantastic location with an amazing panoramic view towards the coast. The facilities provided were ideal with the TV/Playstation in a bedroom away from the main area encouraging family time.
We loved the terrace and we had numerous barbecues by the pool. The pool was deep and the children had a great time diving and playing.
The facilities on offer at the villa were very good quality and well equipped and this made a very enjoyable relaxing stay.
It would have been nice to have a little more information in the villa re the local area but we explored and found some great restaurants Ca Pepe in Moraira and La Cumbre in the hills,near the villa.
we would love to re visit some day.
We spent two weeks in August at this villa and have to say that the photos don't do it justice. The views are stunning, the accommodation is extremely comfortable and the pool was large enough for the four adults and three children in our party. We have been to Cumbre del Sol before and therefore knew what to expect, the villa is convieniently situated within easy reach of Javea, Moraira, Benidorm and the airport. You will need a car to explore the surrounding areas, and there are plenty of hidden little beaches to find, markets to shop at, and plenty of restaurants to eat in.
The villa is situated in Cumbre Del Sol, a quiet residential area mostly containing luxury villas. The villa is set on a hill overlooking the sea. There is no road or aircraft noise. Situated halfway between the lively town of Javea and the quieter picturesque old fishing village of Moraira, the villa has easy car access to a number of local beaches, the nearest being approximately 1Km. There are literally thousands of local restaurants to sample with a wide variety of cuisine. The local area is characterised by cliffs and cove beaches of both sand and pebbles. There are many cliff walks with stunning views of the coastline and surrounding area. The lively resort of Benidorm is half an hours drive with many attractions including a lively night scene and theme parks such as Aqualandia (Europe's largest water park), Terra Mitica (mixed attractions), Mundo Mar and others. To the North, Valencia has great shopping and the new City of Arts and Sciences, with Europe's largest Aquarium (allow 5 hours to visit), an art museum, science museum and IMAX cinema. Inland lies the beautiful Jalon Valley. There are local natural attractions such as the Benidoleig caves and Callosa Waterfalls (Fuentes del Algar). The area is a peninsular and this plus its heght brings a night time sea mist which keeps the area green all year round. With excellent air and sea water quality and 300 days sunshine per year it is not surprising that the WHO has declared this area one of the healthiest in the world!

Rental price includes electricity costs, linen, bathroom towels, WiFi and a terminal clean. Please bring beach towels with you. Rental is from Saturday to Saturday in July and August. Outside of this time other changeover days are possible on request.
Payment is by bank transfer (SEPA) and can be made in GBP or Euro. A 25% deposit required at the time of booking with full payment to be received no later than 8 weeks before departure. A security deposit of £250 (or Eur 300) is required at the time of the final payment and will be returned within fourteen days of departure provided no damage occurs to the property.
