Minimum Stay 3 - 7 nights

About the property

House, 2 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath (Sleeps 7-8)

This single-story extra large 3 bedroom (2 bedroom, plus one smaller office/room with dbl. bed), 1 bath home is nestled under tall pines on the corner of a quite neighborhood in the Garden District of CDA. Located only 4 blocks away from the heart of downtown Coeur d'Alene and Sherman Avenue, where you'll find restaurants, shops, bars, the lake, the beautiful local resort and more!

Our cozy home has an old-fashioned, country feel to it with its high ceilings, original wood floors, large front porch, and bright, open windows on all sides. The interior has been remodeled and equipped with new beds and furniture and has is filled with warm colors to make you feel right at home. With two queen beds, one double bed and a queen sofa sleeper; the house accommodates 7 people comfortably (8 with small children). The large kitchen is stocked with all the essentials to make you feel right at home and the indoor laundry room and private fenced back yard are a great bonus!

Why the Owner Chose Coeur d'Alene: Our daughter and son-in-law have a home down the street and we travel to Coeur d'Alene often. Having a home in the area is convenient and we rent it out for CDA vistors who'd like a more comfortable stay where they can be close to family and friends, without the hassles of a Hotel. We hope to retire in Coeur d'Alene and eventually call our house 'home.'

The Unique Benefits at this House:

It's in a nice family neighborhood, close to everything and the shady corner is great during the hot summer season. The house has an older, rustic feel to it with a new, upgraded interior that is warm and comfortable so everyone feels at home.

Classic charm-can walk downtown

  • 5 of 5

Its a cozy cute home so close to town I could walk everywhere, healing a broken back. The owners are so nice and answered all our questions. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen table turned into an exceptional art table for my husband and I. We stayed 2 months and everyday I woke up to the sweetest home. I didn't want to leave. It has everything you'd want. It is an older home which gives it so much charm. We will be back!!!

Great location, price is right !

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I stayed at this location for 30 days so he could complete Ironman Coeur d' Alene. The house has everything you need, and all appliances are in good working order. It was very clean and the location cannot be beat for the price. We drove cross country and arrived a few days earlier than planned, Lauren could not have been more accommodating. The place was ready for our arrival. We had a great time and will take away wonder memories of our time in Idaho. Great place, great town !!!

Excellent location, decor, and super-comfortable

  • 4 of 5

If you love to travel but have doubts about finding the perfect place in Coeur d'Alene, look no further. Situated on a corner lot adjacent to a magnet school and historic Catholic Church, this house defines comfort and convenience in a classic downtown neighborhood.

I was fortunate enough to live here for a month during work relocation. I slept great from the first night to the last. Plus, my family visited for a few days during this time and also loved it.

Well appointed furnishing, great lighting, HD TV & cable, and the cleanest most comfortable linens, beds, and floors, cabinets, bathrooms, etc. are spotless. Everything is placed where you need it, never looked for a kitchen utensil I couldn't find.

You will enjoy the open ranch style living room and kitchen. Cook when you want to, each out in downtown CDA, just blocks away when you don't. Having rented four vacation rentals in other towns and cities, this Downtown CDA rental was by far the most comfortable and convenient experience for short term or vacation rental. And that includes our dealings with the owners of the homes of Downtown CDA.

Thanks for making my family and I feel at home, in your home.

All the amenities of home close to everything

  • 5 of 5

My husband, daughter, myself and our two dogs enjoyed our stay in this lovely downtown area home. The house is very well set-up with everything you could need (kitchen supplies, toiletries, paper towel, cleaning supplies, etc). We made good use of the washer/dryer having a four month old, and it was handy to have a dishwasher. The was thoroughly cleaned before we arrived, and Lauren was kind enough to coordinate an earlier than anticipated arrival, including re-booking the cleaner to accommodate us. Everything was comfortable and functional for sure, and the decor is nice.

Our dogs were easily managed in the home. There was a nice big yard for them, and we could leave them in the house if we wanted a pet-free outing.

We met four of the neighbours when we were unpacking our truck, and met a few more when we were out for walks. It was about a ten minute walk to the downtown area on Sherman, and perhaps 20 minutes to the beach. There are lots of restaurants and little shops on Sherman Avenue. We recommend Fire Artisan Pizza and Hudson's Hamburgers. There are a couple grocery stores downtown, and lots of other amenities within a short driving distance.

We enjoyed the City and would recommend this home if you plan to visit.

Great Place!

  • 4 of 5

We moved up here from California and found this place. Whether you're staying for a week or several months, this is a great house in a great location. We stayed here for a few months while our home was being built and really enjoyed it. It was very clean and comfortable. The inside has been refurbished with all the modern amenities one needs. It has an extra large kitchen and a nice size backyard for dogs. This place has a great front porch for sitting and visiting with the neighbors and passerbys. This home is located in a very friendly, safe neighborhood and is only a couple of blocks from downtown so that everything is within walking distance. There's plenty to do in downtown with art galleries, wine tasting, chocolate tasting, music festivals, museums, great restaurants and more. If that isn't enough, Tubbs hill is also within walking distance and is a great hike along Lake Coeur d'Alene. And, of course, there are plenty of water activities. All of this available without ever getting in your car. In the summer this neighborhood looks like a scene from a Disney movie with all the beautiful flowers and greenery. The fall foilage in this quaint neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. And in December the Bald Eagles arrive at Lake Coeur d'Alene by the hundreds to catch the spawning kokanee.

The property owners were very accommodating and I would highly recommend this property if you plan on visiting Coeur d'Alene.
