Well furnished quiet home. Wonderful scenic location even in the dead of winter.
Homey Cabin with amazing view
Me and my husband stayed at this cabin for our 10 year anniversary.
The place was really cute and homey.
The view was amazing in the back ! House was very well stocked
with pretty much everything you needed.
Loved the reading area inside in the corner of the living room .
Very creative! We will definitely be returning for future vacations!

Thank you Greg and Lori for your hospitality! The river house was beautiful and perfect for our short get away to north Georgia.
Perfect little weekend getaway
perfect relaxing weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River House. The view and sounds of the river was just fantastic. The house was very clean and comfortable. My favorite part was waking up early and enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck overlooking the river. The kids enjoyed the beach, tubing and playing foosball! Very relaxing! We'll be back!
Spectacular family getaway
We spent out last summer family vacation here at the river house. The location was perfect...not too far from conveniences, yet not to close to the tourist congestion. Although we did enjoy a short time in the town of Helen, we spent most of our time enjoying everything this beautiful part of the country had to offer. We were able to take some spectacular hikes to Anna Ruby Falls and the more challenging, yet worth while hikes, up Yonah Mtn, Brasstown Bald, and Tallulah Falls. We got to do some tree top ziplining and white water rating down the Chatooga. Also, as a pleasant added bonus, we stumbled upon an opportunity to do some apple picking in Long Creek SC. Some afternoons, we spent a good hour or two just tubing the best runs on this stretch of the Chatahoochee...right in the back yard. We'd float down the river and hike back up, over, and over, again. We had a blast! Thank you again for sharing your home and giving us the chance to make lasting memories!
We have put together a folder at the river house, for your convenience, with all the many fun activities you will find in the area. Helen, Sautee and the surrounding area, offers many activities, as well as, time to relax away and refresh. The weather is mostly temperate and you will find the sound of the river and national forest on the other side of the river a wonderful surrounding for a rejuvenating weekend or a week away from the daily grind.
