This beautiful, secluded cabin, dubbed the "Treehouse", is located on an elevated lot in the gated Centennial Shores community. It boasts expansive views of Island Park Reservoir, forested hills, historic Trude Ranch Property , and the majestic Centennial Mountains. You can enjoy this view from the cabin's wrap-around deck, crafted with unique old-growth cedar posts and railings. A short walk from the "Treehouse" will get you to a sandy beach area on the reservoir for fishing, swimming, and other water sports. Also available to you are 2 boat launching ramps with docks, and a large, grassy park to the east.

Inside this unique cabin you will immediately notice its beautiful craftsmanship and be welcomed by cedar tongue and groove ceilings, high log trusses and beams, a cozy great room with a gas fireplace, a 22 ft high window wall, and stair posts and railings of large old-growth cedar.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances including a 48" commercial-style gas cook-top, a large island, and beautiful granite countertops. The "Treehouse" contains 5 queen-sized, handcrafted, large log beds, with a hide-a-bed in the loft area. The Master Suite, located on the main floor, is carpeted and has an electric fireplace. The on-suite bath is tiled in natural stone, with an air tub and shower. French doors offer private access to the deck area. The second floor, fully carpeted, contains 2 large bedrooms with french doors opening to balconies, an open loft area, and stone tiled bathroom.

The Treehouse is located just minutes away from some of the area's best attractions. Just a 30 minute drive north on Highway 20 will get you to the gates of Yellowstone National Park, or a few short minutes away is Henry's Fork, where you can enjoy fly fishing on the Snake River or Madison River. 20 minutes south on Highway 20 will bring you to beautiful Mesa Falls and Harriman State Park. Visit Big Springs and Johnny Sacks cabin, or take a drive up Sawtelle Mountain, where the views are endless. Guided float trips, horseback riding, and golf are all just minutes from the cabin. Hiking is second to none here, with trailheads in the nearby State Parks, along Targhee Creek, Coffeepot, and many other nearby locations. Miles of cross-country skiing and snowmobile/ATV trails leave right from your cabin door. There's no limit to your adventure here!

This is a non-smoking, pet free cabin. We are also under a county ordinance for short term rentals and ask that our guests please stay in compliance for their safety and health; we ask that you stay within our occupancy limits, read the burn ordinances and please be neighborly.

Note that we are on a reservoir so water levels will start dipping in late July due to irrigation and current drought conditions. Usually this does not hinder water recreation such as boating, fishing, swimming, etc, but if you are concerned, please contact us to check the current water levels.

Farmers by trade in NW Utah, having a cabin in Island Park had been a dream of ours for many years. After retirement we made that dream a reality and purchased land to build on in 2005. After 6 years of hard work we are now blessed to share this beautiful home with our children, grandchildren, family, and friends when we can. We've made some amazing memories here and we hope you will too!

Indoors you will find custom beds, tables, lamps, and woodwork that we made especially for this home! We've poured a lot of love into this cabin to make it a truly unique experience.

Excellent, first class home in every way.

We had our family of 10 ranging from 10-86. It was gorgeous and perfectly outfitted and designed. We used it as our base point for our West Yellowstone visits and it worked out perfect.

Would highly recommend the cabin to anyone!

Cozy and authentic log cabin. The Morgan's did a really nice job decorating the place.

We spent a week visiting Yellowstone National Park on a Family Vacation, and opted to stay in Island Park. We are glad we did. Not a bad commute to the Park (26 miles to the West Entrance).

The cabin was spacious with all the amenities. We all sat around the huge kitchen table enjoying breakfast before a hectic day and loved relaxing on the split log benches and around the firepit in the evenings. I would recommend a stay at this beautiful cabin!!

Wonderful!!!

It went by so fast and now we are back in St George with 105 degree days. We had a great time and loved everything. Your cabin is so beautiful. We spent a lot of time wondering where you got such beautiful logs. We had 11 of us and loved the long kitchen table for family dinner. I hope we left things somewhat orderly. We tried! The kids loved the water toys -- so thank-you

Perfect luxury log cabin get-away

Beautiful house and surroundings! We were instantly thrown into relaxation mode from the moment we arrived. We had fun spending 2 days in Yellowstone and 1 day on the lake just steps away. It's a bit of a drive to Yellowstone but worth it for this piece of tranquility. Perfect luxury log cabin get-away!

Serene, Cozy Cabin

Our family of seven rented out this beautiful cabin for 5 nights while we visited Yellowstone for a family vacation. The house was modern, cozy, clean and well maintained with a state of the art kitchen, grill and fire pit for the and electric fire for the colder evenings. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, trays for all cooking, grilling and baking needs. Felt like a home away from home. The cabin was located about 45 mins from the west entrance of Yellowstone park. Make sure you pay attention to the directions given by the hosts since Google Maps has the address mapped incorrectly. The treehouse is situated on an open field and by a river. We spotted deer several times running through the fields close to the house. I would definitely recommend it to others interested in exploring this area! Thank you Curtis and Gloria for being gracious hosts.
