Pet-friendly! The house has three bedrooms and two full baths. Two bedrooms on the second floor with the living room, kitchen, and one of the bathrooms. The main floor has a one bedroom and another bathroom. We have three queen beds set up but can move another queen bed to the house and we have an air mattress. Both available upon request.
We used to rent the downstairs space as a basement apartment it would be great for traveling couples. It has a fridge stove microwave bathroom and one bedroom with a walkout exit through the garage. There is also a sound proofing drape between the floors and a sliding barn door that separates the second floor from the main floor. Please let us know if you would like us to keep it set up this way.
I have also installed two hammocks that isare extra comfy and easy to put up and take down.
Very easy access to the freeway. Close to exit/entry, but still quiet.
Next door to Blue Star Coffee. It's a great local coffee house.
There are two entrances to our home. The front door leads up the stairs to two bedrooms and the kitchen.
The other entrance is through the garage and leads to one bedroom and one bathroom. The two places are connected by stairs and can be adjoining or you can close the door/curtain for additional privacy.
The driveway holds two cars and the garage holds one car. Off street parking is ample. A large free 24 hour state owned parking lot across the street.
A washer/dryer set is also available for you to use. Tide and dryer sheets provided at no additional cost.
We have a full park with free tennis courts a 3 minute walk up the street.
There is a historic wild growth off leash dog park that is called "Tanner Park" that is a 10 minute walk from the front door. This dog park is one of a kind in the Salt Lake Valley. It has wild growth, mild hiking and dirt trails.
There is nice hipster coffee shop/restaurant right next door.
This is a great exclusive part of Salt Lake City called "The Canyon Rim". Homes in this area are very expensive. We have great freeway access, to I-80
It's a really safe area with a lot of joggers and bikers.
The Largest Jewish community in the Salt Lake Area is about a two-minute walk away: Congregation Kol Ami Congregation Kol Ami

This being Utah it's also close to many LDS churches.
Not many buses are in the area. With prior arrangement I may be able to give you a ride when you first get here, to a car rental agency and/or the airport, if I have time.
UBER works great in Salt Lake area average charge from here to downtown is $10-$15
Other things to note
This is a very dog-friendly neighborhood, but please keep your dog, if you bring one, leashed at all times.
Pets? Cats must use a litter box. No Aggressive dogs that have any history of biting or Barking Excessively.
We have experience working with insurance companies, for emergency/disaster housing.

This property is very conveniently located. It is up in a nice neighborhood on the bench. There's a nice coffee shop next door and the house is close to I-80 access. It takes my faince 20 minutes to drive to the University of Utah and that is during traffic.
It is close to ski resorts to the east and downtown to the west/north.
There's a dog park right up the street that my fiance takes her dog all the time. It's a hiking dog park.
There's a Nuch's pizzeria that is rated pretty high next door. The grocery store is down the street along with more stores and eateries. About a three minute drive is Feldman's Deli which is an award winning Jewish deli that makes the best Reuben sandwiches you've ever had and other New York style deli sandwiches. We had our first date there and plan on having them cater our wedding dinner. My fiance is a foodie and would love to offer unique dining experiences.
Hey Phil, thanks for writing to me. It was a fabulous stay. Though I was bit skeptical initially, your hospitality was at par. I feel so great to tell that your property was one of the best places that I have stayed till date. Salt Lake is now one of my favorite vacation destinations. I’m surely coming to your place again and try pizza from that pizza place.
The title says it all I guess. Before I say something about the property, I would like to thank the owner. He’s a great host, quite friendly and wonder. I was looking for a place that could allow my four-legged companion along with my family. And this one just fit the bill. The kitchen had everything for a delicious homemade meal. The living area was so spacious that my daughter spent most of her time watching the TV when we were not hitting the outdoors. Super stay. I’m coming back to this place for sure.
My husband and I stayed at this property for a few months while we were in Salt Lake City for a temporary work assignment. We had a great stay and would definitely go back. Philip and Hannah were great hosts, very quick to respond to any needs that we had. The property consists of a good size bedroom with a large closet, hallway, bathroom, and "utility room" with a washer/dryer, oven/stove, refrigerator, microwave, and storage cabinet. The apartment has everything you will need for kitchen supplies and linens. There is a private entrance to the apartment through the garage. There is parking for one car in the driveway, but several overflow spots right across the street. The apartment is true to the pictures. The location is the best part. It's easy access to a major interstate, 30 minutes to several ski resorts, walking distance to an amazing dog park, and right next to an awesome coffee/juice shop that we went to regularly. It's only about a ten minute drive downtown, and also a couple miles away from all of the fun in Sugarhouse. Hannah and Philip have a sweet dog that you will never hear a peep from, but we would call her downstairs to visit us. :) This is definitely a hassle free stay in a great location.
