Overview

Washington Cabin Rental Photos and Description

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

Picture yourself on the porch with a glass of wine in hand. The tranquil river rolling by with the occasional eagle or duck spotting. If you are lucky even deer. The view can not be better with the snow capped mountains and the colorful sunsets of orange, pink and red.

Maggies Cabin was built in 1936 and has the original river rock fireplace. The roaring fireplace warms you from head to toe. We have all you could want and more!

Features: Skykomish river front property; large covered deck with hot tub and patio set and lounge chairs; leather couches; river rock fire place with glass door insert; wool rugs; full kitchen with coffee/ tea/ hot coco supplied; 2 bedrooms with lots of pillows and down comforters; Master bedroom has a queen and second bedroom has a full; special bottle of local wine or Champagne and take home 'cabin' cups to remember your trip!

We are only 23 miles from Stevens pass and offer discount lift tickets. Ski season is very popular...they have now added mountain biking in the summer.

My favorite thing about this property is the covered large porch! It could be snowing, raining or sunny and you can stay covered and enjoy the sound of the river rolling by. I have even spent the night outside on a blow up bed and enjoyed the river's sound as I slept. We added new plush beds this year and they are also a favorite.

There are many close hikes all around...I always walk down to the single lane suspension bridge....very romantic place too. I had friend get engaged on it.

Time to make a getaway for the Mountains!

We also offer discount ski passes to Stevens Pass. Inquire.

For those who can't leave everything behind...we have wireless high speed internet.

We are just over an hour from Seattle...but you feel a world away.

To add to the options...we have Maggies Love shack listing number is 723052...It is just across the road from Maggies Cabin and is a must to look at! We had so much fun transforming this place...every door and window replaced. Granite countertops; custom cabinets; dimmers on everyl light switch. No special touch was missed! Check out my website for more information.

We put live Christmas tree in the cabin for the holiday! 🎄

About Colleen

I work full time making people look great. I am a hair colorist. I love making people happy. I enjoy the cabin myself and want to share the experience!

Colleen purchased this cabin in 2004

Why Colleen chose Washington

It is on high bank of the river and the view is remarkable. The cabin also gets sunshine during the day and afternoon with wonderful sunsets. We first bought the cabin for skiing...but have found it is wonderful all year long. My husband and I were married here.

What makes this cabin unique

We are the only cabin around who has a generator when the weather is stormy and airconditioning when the weather is hot. We also give you a bottle of Champagne or wine to start your vacation off right. Logo "Maggies cabin" cups to enjoy using and take home for a souvenir.

nice cabin right on the river with amazing views of the cascades.

Colleen's cabin was well equipped for our cooking needs. She thought of everything. It was so peaceful and quiet. We had a great time floating down the river from a mile up - a recommendation Colleen gave us. The bed was very comfy with a down mattress cover. We had the best night sleep with the cook air, sounds of the river flowing over rocks and cozy bed. It was nice to just sit on the lawn and read or watch the birds.

Quiet Warm and Cozy Cabin on a cliff with beautiful views

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful honeymoon at the cabin. Relaxing, enjoying the views, soaking in a hot tub, and napping in really comfy bed. We were able to visit Seattle one night and Victoria/Butchart Gardens on a different day. We even enjoyed a small town fair in Gold Bar. The little adventures were from walking across a wooden bridge to seeing a Big Foot coffee tourist stop. The cabin had all the basics and comforts of home. We look forward to visit again. Thank you for a beautiful relaxing and romantic honeymoon.

p.s. I would hope that the path to the river can be repaired for easier access, but it didn't keep us from enjoying the cabin as the water is realllllly cold. :)

Perfect getaway! Tranquil flowing river. Comfortable cabin.

  • 5 of 5

This was an amazing getaway for my husband and I. We didn't need the TV as the view was what we wanted. The bed was so comfortable. The hot tub was perfect. The kitchen and grill was great so we could fix our own meals. Although the other cabins are near, it was very private. We had beautiful weather. The gift from Colleen was thoughtful! Well kept property which we hope to return to. We visited Deception Falls, it was beautiful. We stopped in Skykomish for lunch at the Whistling Post, delicious lunch and great atmosphere!

This is a wonderful cabin right on the river. Great deck and hot tub. Cosy bedrooms.

My adult son and I stay at the cabin for a long weekend in June. We found the cabin easily and settled in quickly. We were thrilled with the deck and hot tub over looking the river and I particularly liked the river stone fireplace. This was a comfortable cabin with all the amenities. We hiked one day and went white water rafting another. The weather was great and we celebrated with cold beers and threw steaks on the BBQ. Everything operated well and the cabin came with clear and precise instructions which were very helpful. Colleen had everything will organized and the cabin was clean and well-maintained. Overall just a great experience. We will be coming back again, this time bringing the wives. Can't wait!

Gorgeous view of mountains, fantastic location for weekend relaxation

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I along with two of our friends visited in Spring of 2016 for a weekend getaway, and absolutely loved it. The sound of the river in the background and relatively remote location, along with a hot tub and mountain views made our weekend great. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful!

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely time. Everything was just perfect for our trip. We noticed one thing that was out of place. We tried to use the Keurig coffee machine we noticed that the hose that sucks up water seems to be missing from inside the machine. The only other thing we noticed was that there weren't any throw blankets for the couches....until we realized on the last day that they were all inside of the chest. We didn't know that, and I would politely suggest putting a note somewhere noting that for guests.

We will absolutely be back, and I have recommended it to family and friends as a weekend getaway.

Thank you so much!

Christina
