Conveniently located one block from the (in)famous Takeshita Dori with its Gothic Lolitas (a plus or minus depending on one's age/interest), this is a quite apartment with a pleasant outlook in a small building on the 2nd floor (no lift). The apartment is roomy enough to have not only 2 single beds but also a small sofa and coffee table. The kitchen is adequately equipped and all appliances and electrical features where explained with pictures and an English description. The host (a company) was responsive and able to communicate in English and even willing to supply an iron & ironing board. Unfortunately, once we moved in there was no reply to e-mails that the water kettle did not function nor to question on how to enter different wash cycles on the washing machines. There was no tourist information in the property except a book on train travel in Japan. It would have been helpful to know that there is a Tourist Information Center nearby (opposite the Takeshita exit from the JR train station) with an ATM that accepts foreign credit cards. Or that there is a little restaurant nearby (Majestic Kitchen) that serves Western food in a quiet, funky atmosphere opposite a charming little park. All in all, however, it proved a very good experience.
