My husband and I had a lovely long weekend at the Sea Rose Cottage. It's close to all the things we wanted to see and do, very nicely laid out and perfectly decorated for a Cape Cottage. We would recommend this to couples or a family with young children. Look forward to going back!
We visited Cape Cod for the first time and the Sea Rose cottage was a great choice for our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and close to the town and beach. The kitchen was modern and well stocked. The great room provided more than enough space to relax after a long day of sight seeing or beach fun. The beds were comfortable, sheets provided as well as bath towels , beach chairs and umbrella. What more could you ask for .
Thanks Janice ( and Dave)
Sea Rose Cottage exceeded our expectations from the minute we arrived. It was spotless and decorated exactly as you would hope a Cape Cod beach house would look! The yard was private and the setting so inviting with the candles and firepit! Perfect location in the midcape to visit all the attractions and different beaches. Our family loved this house and would have been happy to never leave :) We would definitely return when we visit the cape next!

June dawns fresh, with few crowds and lots of sunny days. A cool sea breeze means perfect bike riding weather! Explore Chatham for breakfast or lunch, Chatham Light- site of the Pendelton- in the afternoon, and sunset on the veranda of the Chatham Bars Inn. Or, if you’re feeling ambitious, follow the Cape Cod Rail Trail into Wellfleet, through the towns of Harwich, Brewster, Orleans & Eastham, passing kettle ponds, lakes, bogs and dunes. You’ll pass several eateries along the way- El Guappo’s, Ardeo or Breakwater Fish & Lobster- but don’t indulge too much, you still have to make the 20 mile return trip home! Take the Freedom Cruise Line to Nantucket, out of Saquatucket Harbor in Harwich Port, to get front row seating at your favorite restaurant- without the wait. Parking is free for day-trippers and you can take your bike!
Summer brings sandy feet, starry nights and dining al fresco. Harwich’s official kick-off to the summer season begins with the 5K Harwich Road Race held in June, complete with a post-race party. Beach-goers will be hard pressed deciding between Harwich’s 22 salt and fresh water beaches. For an unforgettable sunset, take the 15 min drive to Rock Harbor or Skaket Beach in Orleans. Other must-visits are the Cape Cod Lavender Farm and First Crush Winery. Rainy days can mean catching a movie at the Chatham Orpheum or the historic Cape Cinema, Orleans for bowling and barbeque, antiquing at the Harwich Antique Center, or visiting the newly opened Whydah Pirate Museum. Maybe you’d prefer to stay in and kick back, enjoy the fresh, local produce from the Harwich Farmer’s Market, set the seafood on the grill, sink into the couch and just chill. Sea Rose Cottage is a good place to rest after a busy day, and a good place to call home.
