When you sit in a deck chair, you can sip your morning coffee or enjoy an afternoon snack--and surrender to the tranquility of the peaceful quiet, the warm sun, and a gentle breeze blowing through the trees.

OUR WISH FOR YOU: We want your stay to be as memorable as possible. We look forward to talking with you and answering any questions that you may have about our cabin home and the activities on the mountain.
Wendy and I have lived in Los Angeles for 30 years. Our daughter has graduated from college so we have an empty nest! Except that we have four hilarious cats and two dogs at home. We have traveled extensively throughout North America, Europe, and the Far East. We enjoy meeting new people and experiencing their history, culture, and cuisine. As well we love to entertain friends at our home in the US.
I am a business management consultant and Wendy is a psychologist. I love photography and digging into the rich history of places we are visiting. Wendy likes the adventure of discovering things that are new and different.
Peter and Wendy Lewis purchased this cabin in 2000
We bought this property in 2000, when our daughter was 10 years old. After looking at more than 15 homes in the area, we walked into our cabin and knew immediately that this was IT! We immediately felt the calming effect and positive energy of being surrounded by knotty pine wood and beautiful, comfortable and overstuffed furniture.
We bought the house immediately. It has been the place we go with our dogs, to relax and rejuvenate from our busy Los Angeles lives.
A beautiful knotty pine mountain cabin, to spend time by yourself, with family or with friends. A wrap-around prow front redwood deck, full gourmet kitchen, deep leather couches, vaulting fireplace, and three bedrooms. Minutes away is world class recreation.
We had a wonderful stay at the Lewis's cabin for the holidays! This Lake Arrowhead gem is like stepping into a movie: a cozy, inviting cabin surrounded by huge trees and, luckily for us this weekend, covered in a blanket of snow. Everything from the crackling fireplace to the huge windows overlooking that picturesque winter view was beautiful. Our doggies also loved the experience and we are thankful to the Lewis family for providing this pet friendly weekend getaway. Also, Peter and Wendy are the most gracious hosts. From the moment we booked, they were so pleasant in answering any questions and offering all the best tips for making the most of our time in Lake Arrowhead. It is evident they have put a lot of heart into their home and care about making sure you and your family will feel right at home too.
My wife and I had a great time at the cabin!!!! Just fantastic. What awesome hosts for a short stay or a week long. Would not hesitate to rebook you home!!
Mark and Joanne
Was everything I had hoped for. Wonderful location. Outstanding cabin with personalized attention to the little things. Had a wonderful time letting the little ones explore nature and enjoy the snow. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a little bit more than cozy but not huge family get-a-way to stay here. Thank you, Peter and Wendy for a great start to our Christmas week.
The Ellis Family
The cabin is warm, spacious and lovely. Everything is set up for comfort and relaxation. The home is very organized and we loved every detail that was put in to the preparation for our stay. We were greeted by a welcome basket of goodies and a bottle of wine, what a treat! we also loved all the fall decorations! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and the large dining table was perfect for our thanksgiving dinner. We love the spacious living room, fireplace and beautiful Windows. Thank you Peter and Wendy for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful mountain home! We hope to be back next thanksgiving! Colin and Janie Moore and family!
This was our first family trip to Lake Arrowhead, we all had great time in this wonderful cabin. Peter and Wendy were fantastic hosts, they provided a great deal of information about the property and the local sites including restaurants. This is a great base to explore the local area from hiking trails to shopping etc. This cozy cabin feels like a home away from home, I would highly recommend this cabin for a couples or family getaway.
This is a wonderful cabin. Clean and fresh, wide open and specious living area, wall to ceiling knotty pine, one large dining table comfortable for everyone, very family and friends oriented (think of friendly competition air hockey matches and fun games to choose from). The owners are without a doubt - Exceptional Hosts!!! We felt so welcome from the first contact, to the welcome basket, detailed information book to maximize our stay, and the special birthday banner to celebrate our occasion. No detail is too small. Even four pawed friends are made to feel welcome. We sincerely thank you for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin. Everyone fully enjoyed their time in the mountains. We are looking forward to our next visit.
