Just three blocks from downtown Charlottetown, 26 Gerald Street is a 117 year old home which has been completely renovated while retaining its character and charm. Nestled among the trees on a quiet street (known to the residents as "The Lane") , this house has a tasteful mixture of antique and new furnishings.

Located on the first floor is a sunporch, living room, dining room, kitchen and powder/laundry room with front loading washer and dryer. French doors separate the diningroom and living room. The livingroom has a 50 inch LG tv with cable and wireless internet. A completely set up kitchen containing all the dishes and appliances you would ever need to make your vacation enjoyable and entertaining a pleasure. Located off the kitchen is a small deck with a BBQ and an eating area.

The second floor has three bedrooms, two with queen beds and one with a twin bed. The main bathroom is upstairs and is exceptionally large and bright.

Grocery stores, , liquor store, pharmacies, bus stops and many restaurants are located within blocks of this residential area. Explore the city on foot! No car required.

Located in the historic Upper Prince area, 26 Gerald is surrounded by some of the oldest and most beautiful houses in Charlottetown.

Great homebase for work trip

A couple colleagues and I were in from Colorado, USA for a work trip, and Bobby and Kathy's place couldn't have worked out better. The whole house was well-stocked with everything we needed for a homebase away from home. Both Bobby and Kathy returned our inquiries quickly and thoroughly, and Bobby even dropped by a few parting Pilseners before I flew out the next morning. Also the house was centrally located, making it very easy to navigate around Charlottesville. Next time I hope to travel out there on vacation with my wife!

Comfortable well located and great hosts

We had a very enjoyable holiday. Kathy and Bobby are very attentive and generous host's. We were met when we arrived and found their home well equipped and very clean. Locating it was simple and the location is great. The house is within walking distance to stores and restaurants. The waterfront is easy to locate and getting out of town was a very direct route. We enjoyed the week spent and this home made it a great spot to end our busy days. Thank You!

MY STAY AT 26 GERALD STREET CHARLOTTETOWN

An excellent place to stay in Charlottetown P.E.I. I would give Kathy and Bobby Shepherd's place a five star for sure.

Bobby offered to bring my suitcases upstairs when I arrived, and then the day before leaving Charlottetown, he texted me with the offer to bring the suitcases down the stairs and into my car. So very thoughtful and considerate.

I could not have stayed at a more satisfying place, and certainly recommend this house to other people as well.

My family and I would definitely stay at this home again.

The owners Kathy and Bobby are kind, helpful and proud owners who take care of their home. The pictures accurately represent the home. We are a family of 5 and found the home very comfortable. Great location - walking distance to sobey grocery store and 5 min drive to downtown. A real gem!

26 Gerald Street met and exceeded all our needs during out recent visit to Charlottetown. The house was spotless and very well equipped. Great location within walking distance of the downtown sites and close to the highway for travel around the island. Kathy and Bobby are great hosts!
