We had a great time. The place is very nice there's a couple things they can do to improve the place but overall it is a nice place
Myself and some coworkers stayed at the house for a week in Nov. 2015. The house is visually stunning and we had an enjoyable stay, but not without a few minor annoyances. Watching sunsets from the couch and balconies was very nice and every day around 3 o'clock we watched several whales which was pretty cool. There is only 1 trash can in the entire house, and carrying trash around got very old after a week. The TV's parental controls are enabled and we missed many of our favorite shows, so disabling that would be helpful. The wifi works well but does not reach either of the two back bedrooms, and the myriad of light switches, heating controls, etc. could really use an instruction sheet. We almost tripped coming home every day until we found the exterior lighting controllers in the utility room and on the outside wall, plugged them in, and set them. The showers have no doors or curtains, and no matter how much you angle the shower head everything in the bathroom gets completely soaked so you have to move all of your clothes, the toilet paper (which there is no holder for), etc. out when you shower. The area where the lone TV is only has seating for 2 or 3 people, so it would be nice if there was another TV in the main area or in the bedrooms. There are no blinds and the sun directly hits the kitchen in the afternoon so it gets very hot very quickly. During a storm, the roof leaked in 3 separate places which should be addressed. On the plus side, the house is very well appointed with towels, linens, and toiletries, and the kitchen is well stocked for cooking and serving meals. The location is fantastic and is easy get to half moon bay, areas along 1, or San Francisco. We would stay again, but there are some things that could be done to make the home a bit more hospitable.
