In nearby Burton we have the county fairgrounds, which hosts the Geauga County Fair (Labor Day weekend) and two antique shows (spring and fall). Middlefield is the center for Amish culture featuring artisanal cheese and crafts.
In nearby Lake County, we have The Holden Arboretum, Lake Metro park system, and Kirtland Temple and village that has a strawberry festival in the spring.
Ashtabula to the east hosts a large amount of wineries, antiques, and covered bridges

My wife, baby and I stayed here for a week while we were visiting family. The house was great and we really thought the owners did a good job of managing the property. The house is also in a great location in Chardon - many stores and food options were walkable. Thanks again!
We loved this house for a "staycation" not far from our own home in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland. It had everything we needed for our family of five. It was clean and so conveniently located - close to Chardon square, lots of restaurants and other things to do. We went to nearby Alpine Valley for some snow tubing. Thanks again!
We had a great stay visiting with family before our wedding. The house was very clean with all the amenities we needed.
Having grown up in Chardon, my wife and I were excited to see what this house had to offer. We were delighted to find a nostalgic, quaintacential Chardon home. It's very clean and fit our family of five nicely. We would be thankful to stay here again. Also, we met the owners who were very nice and pleasant to deal with. Thanks again!
Very nice home, clean, and great location. Beautiful home!
The only thing that made it difficult is the one bathroom situation; for a family of 6 with teenagers that was challenging.
The home was perfect! Clean and the kitchen was wonderfully stocked. It had all we needed and more. Wish we could have stayed longer. Plenty of linens and pillows. Such a sweet town with everything you could want in close proximity. We ate at Joeys Italian Grill a few minutes away...delicious! The owners were easy to contact and work with. We can't wait to come back.
