Guestbook comments from the manager

Truly the vast list of superlatives could not begin to describe the wonder of this past week here in your home in Tahoe. Beautiful views, a lovely and spacious home all lent itself to the once in a lifetime 50th anniversary of family members.

This home did lend itself perfectly to such a "very special" occasion.

We all loved our stay here and only wish it could be longer.

Place was spectacular

  • 5 of 5

The hot tub, the spectacular view, and the wonderfully furnished bedrooms were all great. I really can't ask for more.

Also Linda was perfectly professional and was easily reachable for any questions we had.

Owner's Response: Hi Krishna, It has been quite a spectacular winter here in Tahoe.... lots of snow and winter fun for all of us. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay and loved the indoor hot tub. This feature of the house is great for relaxing after a hard day of skiing and watching the snow falling outside while staying warm and dry. We hope to see you back for your next trip to Tahoe. Linda

Cabin is ok, view is nice

  • 1 of 5

I think the cabin was ok, the view was nice. However I was disappointed with the owner. Few weeks before we go, I spoke with the owner on the phone, She doesn't sound very friendly on the phone, she asked very rudely how many people we have. And I told her we have 8 adults plus 2 kids. She also mentioned that she might drop by and check on us. And I thought it was weird and not nice for her to say that. Didn't think she will drop by. That day when we arrived at the cabin, about 15 mins after we arrived, she showed up at the door and start counting how many people we have. Her attitude was not very friendly at all. I was actually very surprise that she showed up. Felt like she was watching us. Didn't feel comfortable at all, felt like we have no privacy. I also realized that she have a camera facing the driveway, that explain why she came by right after we arrived. This is my forth time staying at a cabin in Tahoe. My past experiences was never like this. The owner would not show up at the door and start counting people like this. Anyways we will not go back for sure, do not feel comfortable at all with this owner.

Owner's Response: Dear Cindy, Each time this home is expecting renters, I stop by to ensure that it is ready for the guests arrival and on occasion I have the pleasure of meeting the guests. I like to have the opportunity to show them around and answer any questions they may have about the home. I offer suggestions for dining and other activities that they may enjoy and sometimes even help them settle in before leaving them to enjoy their time in Lake Tahoe. I take pride in providing exceptional service to every guest in the home and also to ensure their safety. The driveway camera gives a bit of extra security to the property both for our guests and during periods of time while the home is unoccupied. The camera is not monitored and does not record the comings and goings of our guests. As is the case with most rental properties, the rental permit issued by the county has strict limits on occupancy and I am responsible for making certain that those occupancy limits are adhered to by the guests. Upon arrival at the home I noticed that your group was larger than the allowed occupancy and asked that you verify the number of guests staying at the home. You explained that the additional people in the home at the time were staying at a nearby hotel. I respected your honesty and we left it at that. I truly hope that you enjoyed your stay in the home and had a great time with your family in Lake Tahoe. Linda Property Manager

Beautiful home with stunning views!

  • 5 of 5

We (9 adults) really enjoyed our stay at Heavenly View! The description and photos of the views certainly didn't disappoint. The house was very accommodating to us all and our privacy when wanted. The heating system worked well to keep us warm and comfortable and we used the gas fireplaces daily. The kitchen was well equipped with every dish/pot/utensil we needed to make all our meals. We even used both coffee pots which was nice to have the way my group chugs through coffee.

Linda was super responsive to every question and need and even came over personally to assist taking care and treating the hot tub one afternoon. We used the hot tub daily after skiing hard and it was so relaxing on our muscles.

There is a ski lodge/lift about 1.5miles away...Stagecoach Lodge. Also, Boulder lodge/lift is about 1.5-2miles away making getting in and out of our ski day very convenient and easy. There are not any shuttles from the house to get to them, so you have to drive and park, but we had no trouble.

I highly recommend this home for your ski vacation at Heavenly.

what an awesome week!

  • 5 of 5

we had our family of 12 stay here and there was plenty of room for everyone! The whole house was spacious and clean.

We stayed over Christmas and loved playing in the snow right out the front of the house, and of course the amazing 180 degree views of snow covered trees leading all the way down to the lake, and the mountains in the distance.

The kitchen had everything we needed, there was enough seating for everyone and we enjoyed the pool table and spa downstairs. We wouldn't work out how to turn off the spa completely and made a bit of noise during the night which woke some people up, other than that, no problems at all and would stay here again!

Linda was a great help, thank you.

Owner's Response: Hi Daniel, So glad that you and your family enjoyed your stay in out home. Truly one of the stellar features of the home is that awesome view of the Lake Tahoe. I apologize if the humming of the hot tub motor bothered your sleep. We will certainly have our service company check it out to see if they can quiet it down a bit. LInda

Conveniently located in the Lake Tahoe area.

  • 4 of 5

Ten of us retired Buddies enjoyed our annual get away here this past June. The unit was clean, well maintained and spacious. The views of the lake and surrounding forests is breathtaking. There were plenty of beds for all ten of us, tho four of us had to double in the King beds. The Pool Table and enclosed Hot Tub with it's own shower are a great addition to this spacious house. There were a few things that needed outside attention and were quickly taken care of by Linda the property manager who is very nice and easy to work with. All in all a very nice place to stay in the Lake Tahoe area.
