This place is a gem!
Took our kids, our grandchildren and 2 dogs, here for a little family time together. It was everything we had hoped for...privacy, plenty of room and well stocked. Velvet lake is just that, clean and velvety smooth water . We caught ( and released) lots of fish on the pontoon that came with the cabin, nice feature. The grounds were beautiful , flower gardens everywhere. And the inside rooms had hidden treasures everywhere. The house was minutes to Cross lake and restaurants, golf course and kids activities. Fun town.
Thank you Larry ( who was very helpful) and Julie for sharing your place with us!
I loved having you guys stay. thank you for the being so neat on exit. maybe see you soon my place is open year round.
Unique and comfortable
The house was very unique. There was lots to see while in the house. We were very impressed on how clean it was and no dust!. The location was very convenient, Larry was pleasant and the house comfortable.
House was clean, everything went well, we enjoyed our time there.
thank you Steve you all looked like your stay at velvet lake was rejuvenating , hope to see back soon. Larry
We truly enjoyed our stay on lake velvet and Larry and Julie were excellent hosts. It was wonderful to have access to the pontoon and many memories were made out fishing and being with our large extended Minnesota famiky . The house which was built by Larry is wonderful and well constructed so even tho we had a toddler and 8 other people in the house the house- there was little noise!
Thanks for the memories!

Was perfect for our large group. Having access to the boat was awesome.
Easy access to everything we needed in Crosslake. Beautiful, quiet lake with great dock and boat for our use when ever we wanted. Caught plenty of fish for dinner several nights. Kids loved it!
Beautiful Home, Great Fishing
This property exceeded our expectations. Beautiful landscaping, plenty of room inside for large groups. The fishing was great, with no public access. Caught as many northern, bass, and pan fish as we wanted, throwing most back, but keeping enough for a couple of good meals. For those who golf, there are a variety of golf courses nearby suited to a wide range of skill levels.
