Great vacation

  • 5 of 5

This was a wonderful place to stay. Traveled was my husband, 4 month old, out chocolate lab and myself.

My parents and my in-laws came up separately and split the week with us.

The outdoor yard was amazing and the dog swam everyday!

The house had everything you could possibly need.

Hopefully we have the chance to return one day.

I had a wonderful time. The lake is big enough to enjoy kayaking, canoeing and fishing. She also had bicycles for us to use which was great. The house was wonderful. The living room looks right out onto the lake as well as the main bedroom. She has a nice screened in area to eat outside if you wish. There is a market only 5 minutes away which is nice in case you need to get anything you need. We were saying how nice it would be to own a place like this and thought no need we can just rent this place when we get the itch to enjoy nature. We highly recommend this place.

Christmas by the Lake

  • 5 of 5

We rented this charming lakefront home to spend the Christmas weekend out but not too far away from the city and it surely did not disappoint. We found the house in general very spacious, clean and organized, yet extremely comfortable and inviting, specially the kitchen dining and living areas. Outside there’s a well-trimmed lawn, right by the lake with a fire-pit and a swing set for the little ones. The lake is very quiet and one of the cleanest I have ever seen, stocked with trout and big mouth bass. Deb (our host) was very gracious, attentive and very responsive. We highly recommend this property and can’t wait to go back ourselves!

Beautiful House - wonderful stay

  • 4 of 5

We had a wonderful time staying here. From the minute we walked in the front door we knew our only mistake was not booking a longer stay. The home is spacious and comfy. The large kitchen was perfect for our party of four since we really like to cook. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings and managed to see wild deer, wild turkeys, woodpeckers and even a beautiful heron! It was fantastic.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, lakeside retreat.

An Amazing lakehouse vacation

  • 5 of 5

We had an amazing time in Deb's place. The house is fully equipped with everything that's needed for a lakehouse vacation- Kitchen appliances, towels and sheets, games for small children and of course everything needed for some activities outside- boats, bikes and more...

The house is located right on the lake with a private access to the water and is very well maintained which is always a great bonus.

No cell phone connection in that area (T-mobile / at&t) so keep that in mind.

Deb was super helpful and communicative before, during and after our stay.

We would totally recommend it to our friends, with or without children!
