'Sueno De Mar' is beautiful waterfront home with an island feel that will keep you coming back again and again. This fully furnished, newly built 4 bedroom 4.5 bathroom home features a spacious living and dinning room with ample seating, an airy fully equipped kitchen, all ensuite bathrooms and wonderful spacious outdoor living areas to enjoy with friends and family.

In front of the home there is water access to protected Moriah Harbour. This allows our guests to enjoy the water ever day of the year. Moriah Harbour is fantastic for kayaking, paddle boarding, boating, snorkeling, kiteboarding, fishing, water skiing and wake boarding, etc. It is also a perfect venue to bonefish, either on your own or one of the skilled local guides can pick you up by boat right at the house to head out for a day on the water.

There are numerous beaches in the harbour that can be explored from the house. There are also two of the best beaches in Exuma within a 5 minute car ride from the house. Tropic of Cancer Beach and the lesser known but very amazing Fort Pasture Beach.

The Master bedroom is situated on the water side of the house with a captivating view of Moriah Harbour and a beautiful pool! The Master bedroom consist of 1 king bed and an En suite bathroom that features a large bathtub and double (his & her) sinks.

The 2nd bedroom located behind the master is outfitted with two twin beds that can be joined together to make 1 king if requested. The room also features a neat mini bed that would be great for accommodating a younger child.

On the opposite side of the house you will find another bedroom facing the water front and enjoying the same captivating views as the master. It can be set up as a king or two twins, depending on the needs of your group

The 2nd bedroom on this side of the home features two twin trundlebeds with a top and bottom sleeping bunk. This room sleeps 4 comfortably, and would make a great sleeping quarters for the kids!

The compact yet efficient laundry area is equipped with a brand new heavy duty Whirlpool washer and dryer set.

The outdoor amenities include a beautiful naturally finished wooden patio with matching patio furniture that leads down to an expansive deck and seat area that surrounds a welcoming private pool. You will also find a modern gas grill for out door cooking as well as a pass through service window to the kitchen.

Rain Rain and More Rain

Not really sure where to begin writing about this experience and stay at Suena Del Mar. The weather for our week was pouring with rain and the House could not take the deluge of water from the Storms. We were collecting rain water as it poured into the house through the Sliding doors of the Kitchen and living area. Couple that with power outages, roads that were flooded and impassable, along with hard mattressess (which is a real shame as the House overall is tastefully decorated) and it was an unforgettable, never again experience. HOWEVER..Onike from the Good Life looked after us, made sure we got to the airport (we couldnt use our rental car or drive as the roads were flooded so thanks to Theo and the School bus we were able to get out! Thanks to her and John Toker for their support and help.

I am a frequent visitor to Exuma and have never experienced Rain like it. I don't normally stay that far out (the house is near the bridge to Little Exuma) and all in all it was a pretty miserable and uncomfortable week.

Owner's Response: We agree that it was a very trying time for the guests and most everyone on the island. We felt terrible about the situation but there was little anyone could due. Our normal annual rainfall is about 30 inches. In the month of January alone we received upwards of 30 inches and had already seen massive and unusual amounts of rain the previous two months. The weather resulted in power outages throughout the island and left roads in some areas as described. Impassable for all but large commercial vehicles with drivers willing to sacrifice the vehicle to insure people got to where they needed to. We and many others are grateful to Theo for acting as transport for locals and visitors that were left stranded by the flooding. Thankfully the weather has settled in to more normal patterns and the island and its home and people have dried out. We are very sorry that the guests did not have the experience that Exuma and Sueno de Mar are known for and we hope that their next trip to Exuma is blessed with perfect weather.

House was great indoors for 4 couples.

House was set up well for 8 people. The outdoor covered patio leaked rain badly. The pool was not maintained and turned green during our stay. Also, should have had a heightened awareness of the bug issues. First day we all got bitten badly and all of us had discomfort from multiple itchy bites during our stay. Having a boat is necessary to explore the beaches that are most beautiful, however, knowing the tides are a must due to shallow waters.

Owner's Response: We are very sorry that there were some issues during your stay. Our fall/winter of 2017 and 2018 have been unusually rainy. Normal monthly rainfall during the months of November thru march are generally from 0 to 2 inches and we have experienced anywhere from 15 to 30 inches per month. This has resulted in a considerable increase in the amount of mosquitos and sandflies due to the excessive standing water on the island. Sadly, it also left our pool service company falling behind while trying to keep up with the pool being filled with rainwater and throwing off the chemical balance of the pool. That said, we have since switched to a larger pool service provider that we feel confident will be able to handle such challenging situations should they arise in the future. With regards to the leaking porch roof we have taken measures to repair and monitor it and hope it does not pose any further problem. We do hope that all in all the stay was an enjoyable one and we are sorry that things were not perfect during that period of time. The last few months were extremely challenging due to weather but we are now back to sunshine and warm breezes.

Couldn't ask for more!

I cant even begin to explain how wonderful our 2 weeks vacation was. From the moment we flew over Exuma we knew this was going to be the experience of a lifetime. First, when they say they have the bluest water on the world, they are not joking. I have never seen so many shades of jewel toned colors in my life.....aquamarine, turquoise, azurite, fluorite, lapis, sapphire, topaz and even some tanzinite! They were breathtaking, honestly, you must see it to believe it. Second, the sand....the sand in some of these places (tropic of cancer beach is one example) is like powder. So soft you just sink right in while the kids play in the water; so lovely. Third, quiet! We live near a large city and were so happy to get away from police sirens, ambulance, airplanes, freeways, neighbors screaming, loud music, etc. Fourth, the stars are just awe inspiring, we were privileged enough to stay during a meteor shower and got to see some amazing 'shooting stars'! The list could keep going on, but I will end it with the house itself. Pictures could use an update as it is not in the condition that it currently is in, now that's not to say it is bad, it just has been used well. Little things were broken - toilet paper holders, bed frame, counter top, a cabinet, nothing major though. In fact, when we told the caregiver for the property, she did ALL she could to fix ANY problem we had! That's really all you can ask for at a vacation house, inevitably people are going to damage things, but the fact that she was there when we needed something fixed, or replaced, makes this a special place to stay. We stayed with our family of 6 (2 adults, 2 teens and 2 children) and there was plenty of room when we had friends come for just a week, which brought us to 10. Great idea to have sliding doors to shut off each end of the house, no snoring heard from the other side! Comfy couches and beds, large table, adequate kitchen. The pool was an excellent size and the beach is seriously footsteps away. You can snorkel right off of it, the water is nice and shallow. We had a couple catered dinners from Onike, her group are AMAZING cooks with the BEST prices on the island! Especially after the sticker shock of groceries ($12 gallon of milk anyone?) That all being said, we are REALLY looking forward to returning and booking with Good Life Bahamas, their staff is among the best we've worked with in the world. You will not regret staying here, promise!!!

Beautiful Home!

The house was beautifully appointed and fully stocked with all the essentials. It was perfectly situated in a protected harbor that allowed us to keep our boat rental on the back dock the entire trip. It's relatively close to everything, but either a car or boat is a necessity. The pool area and the view were spectacular. There are two separate wings with two bedrooms/bath's on each side, which allowed privacy if need be.

Onike was more than helpful. Hurricane Maria was a viable threat to the Exuma's and she gave us options to cancel or reschedule our trip if we didn't feel comfortable coming. Thank goodness we went because the weather was perfect! She met us at the airport and escorted us to the house and gave us the full tour. We had a few issues with the internet, but she immediately found a solution to our problem by delivering a phone we could hotspot into.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the beautiful Bahamian waters with friends and/or family. We love the Exuma's!

Amazing Place!!!!!

From arrival to departure our visit to Exuma was incredible. Onike reached out to us (5 adults) offering shopping, meal preparation and any other helpful services to make our trip great! She's wonderful. She met us at the airport and guided us to the market for food and drinks, even after waiting for our delayed arrival. She then lead us to the property which is a short 20 minute ride from the airport.

Onike opened the house for us and gave us a rundown on where everything was and how everything worked. Very helpful with tips and places to go. She showed us the wonderful pool and outdoor area and pointed out the beach to us.

The house is as the picture show, beautiful! Very up-to-date with all of the conveniences one could need. The house was in great shape and was well furnished perfect for hanging out, eating together with a great outdoor space. The bedrooms are great sizes and the bathrooms for each are very nice! Each bedroom has it's own A/C which is great. There is one TV in the living room, none in the bedrooms, but you don't stay here to lie in bed and watch TV. The paddle board and kayaks are a great perk.

There was an issue with the main living area. We called Onike and she took care of it. We left for the market and before we got back (about an hour), the crew had the A/C completely changed out and the house was cooling! This was not an inconvenience at all due to great customer service. This would take 2 days in my city, and it took about an hour, amazing!

Our group enjoyed the location as it is was remote somewhat without being in convent from necessities. The proximity to the Tropic if Cancer Beach is ideal at a short 4 miles. AND IT IS ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS THERE! The water behind the property is beautiful as well. Nice breeze everyday, and a great location for the kayak and paddle board use and we snorkeled a bit. You'll see every shade of blue in the water here!

On our final day Onike met with us at the house. We walked the house together, making sure everything was in order and we were shortly after on our way. Our entire experience was perfect and we would definitely stay there again on our next visit. The property owner John runs a great operation. He stopped by quickly to check on us, was very pleasant and also knows a lot about the island. He and Onike are a great team.

Beautiful house and an incredible view!

We had 6 adults and 4 kids in our group and there was plenty of room for everyone. The 4 kids shared a room. We rented a boat and enjoyed boating around the harbor and also did a lot of paddle boarding. The water is incredible.

Onike was very helpful and answering questions and responsive when needed. We had dinner catered a couple times and that was a lot of fun.

This spot on the island is quite so it's a perfect place to get away, slow down, and enjoy!
