As a family of 6, we stayed 5 nights (at first 4 nights, and then 1 last night before leaving Tokyo after a 10 days trip in Japan). We had a wonderful time in Tokyo, thanks to this house, very conveniently located close to a subway station well connected to the general Tokyo metro grid (45 min from Narita airport; about 25 min the Tokyo station).
The house is very comfortable, with all amenities exactly as described and shown in the pictures; everything is there, handy and easy to use. Thanks also for the pocket wifi, allowing to keep connected all around the city.
There are many family-type restaurants nearby (good and with very reasonable prices) as well as grocery stores and a small sise department store.
The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (except for the kids playing in the park or the kindergarten next door during the day, but it was expected), and the park is a plus with small kids.
Overall, this house is ideal as a base camp to discover the city with a family and get a good rest after a long day of hiking.
A word about our hosts: we did not have the opportunity to meet Seiko, but only Brad who seems to be a genuinely nice person, eager to help enjoying the house and the city. He is of very good advice and assistance, and the communication was extremely good and reactive with him, before, during and after our two stays. Thanks again, Brad.
If we have the chance to come back to Tokyo, we will probably stay again in this place.
Stayed 12 days recently and was very happy...Brad and Seiko are superb hosts and went out of their way to make sure everything went well, providing baby cot, high chair and safety gate to ensure bubs was catered for...
House itself was really comfortable, and had everything we needed...on the down side, park whilst excellent and convenient but can get a bit noisy during the day with kids (as expected)...
Location was great and easy to navigate around Tokyo...
The house was exactly as was shown in the pictures. The location, although a bit far from central Tokyo was easily accessible via public transport. The neighborhood was that of a typical suburbian residential community, peaceful, quiet and very orderly. Although not comparable to the more progressive cities of Tokyo in terms of modernity, the place had its own appeal. There are two grocery stores located nearby that sell the freshest produce and there also is a department store that houses a 100-yen outlet. The locals are friendly and very eager to please. They will always go out of their way to lend a helping hand.
Brad and Seko were the perfect hosts. They would always check on us if we needed assistance and they are very easy to communicate with.
Overall, our experience with this place was phenomenal. We will surely stay here again on our next trip to Tokyo.
