A Wonderful Getaway

  • 5 of 5

Some friends and I were looking for somewhere to get away for a long weekend (we each live in different east coast cities), and stumbled across Lynn's beautiful home. Not only were the house and property amazing--especially the new game room, which provided hours of friendly competition and entertainment--but Lynn herself proved to be a gracious and concerned host. She had locally-made treats waiting for us in the house when we arrived and generally made the booking process a piece of cake. While at the house, we had the misfortune of some major storms passing through the area (tornadoes touched down!), which knocked out the otherwise very resilient local power grid due to downed trees. Though it was brought back up after a few short hours, Lynn still took it upon herself to reach out several times and ensure that everyone was safe and sound. Knowing that we had that level of support made the weekend extra great.

We would highly recommend that anyone consider staying here, and in fact hope to be back ourselves!

Very welcoming Home away from Home

  • 5 of 5

The home was every thing advertised and more. The homeowner was very approachable. She was quick with any question we had. The house was stocked full of goodies and toiletries. We never left the house! We planned on having a fire Saturday afternoon. After raining all day/night Friday, there was no dry wood to be found. I emailed the homeowner. She quickly responded. She said she would bring some over in 2 hours time - within 10-15 minutes time, she was there!

The house has very cute books! We had fun looking thru the them.

The only thing missing was a hot tub.. lol

This beautiful inviting home truly set the tone for our family getaway weekend. The house was fully equipped with any thing we could possibly need, and the Christmas decorations made it so festive! Looking forward to making this a yearly tradition!

Fantastic experience - would stay again!

  • 5 of 5

We visited over Thanksgiving week to meet up with family and wanted to have more space than hotel rooms for our group of 6. The house was immaculate, as described, and incredibly well-kept. The owner was very responsive to our questions before and during the stay and she really goes the extra mile to ensure a great experience. The house is located in the woods and has nice privacy, but also has easy access to local places of interest. Thank you for a memorable stay and for making our week very enjoyable!

Simply beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We can not complain: a beautiful house, in a beautiful location, close to plenty of attractions. We enjoyed our stays in the house as well as our visit to amesh country, King of Pressia mall, and Hershey Park (though it was slightly crowded). We founded everything we needed in the house and my 8 year old daughter, as well as I enjoyed the many games in the basement. My adult girls did plenty of walking in the beautiful neighborhood. Sunrise through an exotic forest seen from backyard was my favorite feature of the house. Thanks

Rest and Relaxation

  • 5 of 5

Our summer vacation was idyllic and Lynn was a great part of that. I traveled to Pennsylvania with my husband and our two dogs. Upon arriving at The Kerryn House we felt immediately "home". This house is beyond perfect. As soon as we walked in there was music playing and Lynn left the lights on for us. There were treats for all of us...including the dogs. There were three deer on the property to greet us as well. Lynn thought of every detail and everything needed for a great vacation is provided. We are already planning our next trip and will definitely return to this beautiful place.
