We stayed in Empress 904 the first week in May 2016. My husband and I felt at home as soon as we walked in. It was beautifully decorated with some beautiful art work, appropriate for an upscale Florida beachfront condo. I love that it felt like Florida versus decorated like a regular, any state place. The views and balconies were absolutely wonderful, beach on one side and Lake Stewart on the other. All of the rooms were large ,spacious and beautifully decorated. We loved the attached bathrooms with each of the 3 bedrooms as our grown son and his family joined us for a few days. The master bedroom had a very comfortable king bed which we slept well on. My son said the queen bed was too hard for him. Twin beds were great for the children. We also liked having a spearate larger laundry room that we could put the beach gear in. The kitchen was well stocked and had my favorite cutting knives😄If we critique anything, it would be that the coffee pot was a drippy thing that made a mess every time we poured and the TV on the oceanside(there are two separate sitting areas) has a very poor, tinny sound. The one one the lakeside was great!
On a housekeeping note, more than one refill trash bag is needed in the kitchen. With all the glass tabletops, I had a hard time cleaning up with only a wet paper towel, wish there was some windex. Also, it seemed the floors were not cleaned well as our feet were ALWAYS very dirty soon after a shower.
We hope to be able to revisit 904 again soon for a longer stay as it is close to good shopping and restaurants. We had friends visit and they were as impressed as we were. It Is always so nice to feel at home quickly, knowing that everything you need is right there.
The property was very roomy, nice and we really enjoyed our stay here. The Balconies were roomy and comfortable with beautiful views. All the bedrooms were nice, roomy and nicely decorated. The place as a whole is decorated nicely and has a lot of luxury appeal to it. The icemaker was a nice amenity as was the trash chute being so close. Nothing is perfect though. These are noteworthy items to be fixed, corrected or at least be made aware of. These things kept me from rating this a 5 Star and are as follows: 1.) The Master Bedroom was noticeably warmer than the rest of the rooms and could be very uncomfortable at night. 2.) There appeared to be mold/water damage from a water/rain leak in the Master Bedroom at the floor base area at the head of the bed nearest the ocean/patio. 3.) The Master Bedroom TV was not located where it is easily visible and the TV itself was very old. The screen was discolored and not nearly what you would expect for the money paid. 4.) The dryer takes a very long time to dry and needs to be serviced. 5.) The door stop on the entrance door would not stay in an upright position and had tape on it to tape it upright to the door. Very aggravating to deal with and not very appealing for the price paid. 6.) The dishes were not clean in the dishwasher when we arrived and the floors were not very clean. Sand was left in a pile where it was swept up and not disposed of. All of that being said, please do not think I would not recommend this place. I certainly would provided these items were addressed. It is very lovely and everything I mentioned can be fixed or corrected very easily. I do not think it was as good a value for the money as it should have been with these items or conditions present. We did not complain about these things while we were there simply because we did not want to spend our vacation time dealing with complaints and repairs. We knew we could make these things known after we left and hopefully, they would be fixed/corrected for a future guest.
