Beautiful home

  • 5 of 5

It's really a lovely home that was very clean. The pictures do not do it justice. The owners were extremely responsive to any questions I had. Fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable. Need to bring your own linens and towels. We had 2 toddlers aged 2 so it was a bit farther from the beach than ideal but I think great for older kids. We brought our own pack and plays because they weren't ready for big kid beds yet and there were many stairs which made me nervous but did fine. one thing I would say is that there was no hand soap which would have been helpful. Also There was not a full roll of toilet paper in each bathroom as promised which also would have been helpful.

Perfect fit for a girls weekend

  • 5 of 5

We loved staying at this beautiful townhouse for a long girls weekend! It had enough space to accommodate everyone and it was close enough to take a short uber ride to the beach! The owners were so helpful with any information that we needed and would definitely stay here again! :)

Great stay - SUPER clean and well kept home close to beaches!

  • 4 of 5

We had a great stay & would absolutely stay at this impeccable home again. Everything was labeled, so we didn't have to hunt for things, and our hosts even made their margarita mixer available. Good location between the beaches of Rehoboth & Lewes (we prefer Lewes), with a nice & quiet community to come back to in the evenings. Highly recommend.

What an awesome home!!!

  • 5 of 5

My family and I enjoyed this home so much!!! It was everything promised and more! There was plenty of space for my husband, our young adult sons, and my mom. There was so much attention to detail. The home was very comfortable and welcoming. We especially loved the notebook that was full of places to visit and eat. The owners were very attentive to any and every need we had. Do yourself a favor, stay here!!!

Great trip with great friends at a great place

  • 5 of 5

July 2016 long weekend for 4 couples....It was wonderful for each couple to have their own bedrooms as well as bathrooms. There is plenty of space in the home. My husband and I spoke of how it would be a great generational family trip in the future. The loft would be great for the kids, but fine for adults too.

The owners were very helpful and informative. Speedy response, etc.

We had minor issues with climate control the first night, but figured it out the next morning. The loft does get bright and rather warm from the natural sunlight, but fans are provided.

The pictures of the house are on point.

First floor/entry: queen bed and bath with walk out to patio

Second floor: living rm, dining rm, kitchen, half bath, small deck

Third floor: washer/dryer, king bedroom w bathroom w deck, queen bedroom w bathroom

Fourth floor/loft: 2 single beds, full futon, bathroom (no door at bottom or top of the stairs)

Our first day (prior to check in) we were meet with an storm on the beach and, since no one had stayed the night before and it was already cleaned, the owners allowed us to enter a little bit early to get out of the rain, thunder and lightening.

The kitchen had the usual utensils, but much, much more (more than we thought there would be) and prior guests/owner seem to leave a few extras (paper cups and the like), but best to bring your own to be prepared.

The outlets are very close as well as places to eat. We took the public bus that stops on the same side of the highway (across from CVS) one day (info supplied by the owner in a big binder at the house), however most other times we walked to the beach and beach restaurants/bars. The bus/drive makes it seem much further away that it is. If you can, I suggest walking...if you don't have much to carry.

Linens are not included, but pillows and comforters were provided, however everyone in our group had brought and used our own. Don't forget beach and bath towels. There is a washer and dryer if need be.

I do recommend bringing hand towels for the half bath (same floor as living room, dining room, and kitchen).

The only drawback (not particular to this house) is that the houses in the developement are townhouses and the decks are extremely close to the ones next door (both sides in this case). If the neighbor was out we did not go out on the deck.

We would totally go back to Rehoboth and stay here again.

We had a great time! Rehoboth is a great place and so is this house.

Thank you for having us!

Fantastic Weekend For Haggard Moms...

  • 5 of 5

Sandy Toes was an oasis for four moms in our late 30s and two infants --- the house is conveniently located to a million things (including amazing sticky buns and coffee just two blocks away) but we were so comfortable and happy inside that we spent most of our hours chatting in the living room with wine instead of hitting the beach. We each got our own bedroom and bathroom and were able to get some much needed rest and relaxation too -- a far cry from our get-togethers 10 years ago but just what we had in mind. Beautiful home and response, kind hosts when we did silly things like leave planning to the last minute and had to bombard them with questions even as we drove there. thanks so much!
