Enjoy your next vacation in the picturesque Olympic National Forest -- one of the most beautiful regions of the United States. This has been our family lake place for the past 40 years and is full of many fond memories from the first day we started construction in 1970. Now we want to extend the beauty and magic of our cherished place to you!
The location is perfect for the active nature lover or the quiet relaxer alike. The lake provides for all manner of water sports including boating, canoeing, water skiing, swimming and more. The beautiful Olympic forest provides numerous hiking trails of varying length and intensity for everyone from the hiking enthusiast to the family looking to spend a relaxing day together in nature.
Or if you're looking for a little more peace and quiet, enjoy sitting on the deck beneath the Evergreens while you read a book and watch the wildlife go by.
The cabin comes stocked with a wide selection of books, videos and games. There is also driveway parking for 4-6 vehicles off street, perfect for getting together a few friends. A private community park and boat launch are just a few blocks walking distance and parking passes are included. Boat launch fee is $20 per 3 days.
Wireless Internet access and DishNetwork Satellite TV channels included. Pets are allowed with some restrictions and an additional fee so that you don't have to leave Fido at home.

Relaxing week in a lovely setting
We have stayed many times before and continue to come back as this is a favourite place for a vacation. Accommodations are clean and it is always very peaceful. Good space for a group.
Perfect Summer Stay!
We had an amazing time in this house and there was plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable. The house is fully equipped with all of the necessities and more! Beautiful porch and deck with a viewing area. (There were no other renters on the property so we had the property to ourselves.) Would definitely recommend!
Great place for a friends or family get-together!
Great place to hang out with friends or family! Has everything you need in the kitchen. Lots of movies to watch and even VHS! A getaway close enough to Seattle for a weekend trip. Plenty of beds and bedrooms. Everything works well. We would gladly return.
Great location for a winter get-together!
We were snowed in for a wonderful Christmas. Our daughter’s car couldn’t make it up and down the snowy hills for 2 days, but her friend’s 4-wheel-drive truck did just fine. The cabin has plenty of space (there were only 5 of us) and the kitchen is well-stocked with utensils and condiments. My daughter and her friend even swam (for 7 whole minutes!) in the 43-degree lake. We hiked the nearby Upper Big Creek loop trail through beautiful forests. In the evenings, there’s a great selection of movies to choose from.
Overall, this lake house is a great location for a winter get-together! However, for my allergies, I would have preferred wooden flooring instead of carpeting on the second floor.
Cozy Cabin with a homely feeling
Our group of 3 families stayed for 2 nights over thanksgiving weekend and enjoyed our comfortable stay here. The beach area of Lake Cushman which is 5 minute walk from the house is stunning. The kids enjoyed the water and the park. At home we were pleased with the well stocked kitchen and pantry to make our meals. Corlen, the host has stacked a shelf full of games, coloring books, crayons, movies and decks of playing cards which occupied us for hours! The beds were pretty comfortable and there were ample blankets and extra sheets. We will be sure to return! Thanks Corlen!
Beautiful house in the woods!
This house was really wonderful... the walk to the lake was a little longer than we had thought but it was beautiful and the lake was amazingly warm and serene! The house is stocked pretty well with kitchen and bath implements and was really nice. The lower deck overlooking the lake was a nice bonus too.
Lake Cushman is located in the Olympic Mountains above Hoodsport WA, which is on Hyway 101 bordering the Puget Sound. There are many local activities in this quiet community and nearby indian reservation that offers casino's and other resorts.
Other Activities: Boating, fishing, hiking, wildlife viewing, basketball court, horseshoeing, kayaking
