Enjoy your next vacation in the picturesque Olympic National Forest -- one of the most beautiful regions of the United States. This has been our family lake place for the past 40 years and is full of many fond memories from the first day we started construction in 1970. Now we want to extend the beauty and magic of our cherished place to you!

The location is perfect for the active nature lover or the quiet relaxer alike. The lake provides for all manner of water sports including boating, canoeing, water skiing, swimming and more. The beautiful Olympic forest provides numerous hiking trails of varying length and intensity for everyone from the hiking enthusiast to the family looking to spend a relaxing day together in nature.

Or if you're looking for a little more peace and quiet, enjoy sitting on the deck beneath the Evergreens while you read a book and watch the wildlife go by.

The cabin comes stocked with a wide selection of books, videos and games. There is also driveway parking for 4-6 vehicles off street, perfect for getting together a few friends. A private community park and boat launch are just a few blocks walking distance and parking passes are included. Boat launch fee is $20 per 3 days.

Wireless Internet access and DishNetwork Satellite TV channels included. Pets are allowed with some restrictions and an additional fee so that you don't have to leave Fido at home.

The Unique Benefits of this House: This is a peaceful, quiet neighborhood with security patrol and plenty of room for a large family.

Guestbook comments from the owner

Yes, thank you for letting us use your lake place. It was nice to have family time, and be in such a beautiful surrounding.

We enjoyed sharing meals at the large kitchen table, and having both the upstairs and down to play games or whatever in two groups.

The house is very well stocked with whatever anyone might need.

We hope to arrange another stay at some future time.

Beautiful house in the woods!

  • 5 of 5

This house was really wonderful... the walk to the lake was a little longer than we had thought but it was beautiful and the lake was amazingly warm and serene! The house is stocked pretty well with kitchen and bath implements and was really nice. The lower deck overlooking the lake was a nice bonus too.

Peaceful and Beautiful View of Lake Cushman

  • 4 of 5

Incredible view of the lake. Really enjoyed the expansive porches, gazebo and a very well-stocked kitchen. More space to store clothes would be nice. Air freshener pretty strong but overall a very positive experience.

Rented studio off of gazebo for a few of the days and it was absolutely lovely!

Note: If traveling with young toddlers additional baby gates/fencing is advised since relatively large spacing between upstairs railings.

Lots of room for a group, short walk to the beach.

  • 5 of 5

Great place! Our family of 5 couples and 4 babies and toddlers stayed there. Short walk to beach. Enjoyed kayaking, a family hike, and some of us had lots of fun at a rope along the north shore of the lake.

The cabin is Great!! The loft is great for kids. The gazebo rocks and the view deck is awesome.

  • 5 of 5

We really like this place. There is plenty of parking and the two story deck is fantastic. There are plenty of sleeping places.

Two separate TVs was great, the kids could play the Wii games in the loft. The dining/kitchen is awesome. The kitchen really does have Everything!! --even an apron!! Finding flour in the cupboard was great for breading the fish!!

Our stay was great. Lake Cushman is gorgeous and just right for swimming. We inaugerated several new water toys at the private park. What a great location!!

Thanks so much for the parking pass! The kids say they loved it and wanted to move in. They played ping pong and enjoyed getting wifi in the cabin. The kitchen crew really enjoyed the big table, we were able to fit everyone around it for a spaghetti dinner our last night there. Oven and stove worked great. This place is Really super. Everyone had so much fun. Be sure to sit out on the view deck at dusk and watch the tiny bats flying around!! We brought our little dog and he was right at home.

It was great to come home to the cabin after swimming all day. Highly recommended if you have a group vacation planned. The Cushman Market is only a couple miles away if you need ice or snacks!

All in all a most enjoyable experience. My two pieces of advice would be to sharpen the knives you use and use the upright fan in the downstairs bedroom during summer.

The owner is awesome!!!! So nice and so available. Really really just an all around wonderful experience.
