On the Rocks is located next to a beautiful red rock wall and has amazing views of the valley. We really enjoyed the outdoor space. Their is a campfire pit and several chairs and tables in the front of the house. The back has a large deck that was nice too. They could clean up the yard area and update the outdoor tables. The beds were amazing! Most comfortable we have slept in!
When you first enter the home their is a strong oder like a sewer. It would dissipate when you left the door open.
We were most disappointed with the kitchen. They left a generous amount of food but the ability to cook the food poised a challenge. They had two small frypans that were very worn and greasy. We had to scrub the pan before it was useable with the ONE dishcloth they provide. We stayed there for 5 days and when I asked for a additional dishcloth they acted like 1 is enough. They even asked for the dirty one before they would exchange for a clean one. They also only gave us 2 garbage sacks, 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towel and a very small amount of dishwashing soap. We ended up going to Shopko and bought a frypan, paper towels, garbage bags and cleaning wipes (so we did not have to use our 1 dishcloth). The house had updated light fixtures but they were very dim. It was hard to see anything especially in the kitchen.
Overall the house worked for us and our 2 small dogs but it could have been more enjoyable if they would have been more generous.
We really enjoyed our stay in your home. We pulled a trailer and had lots of room to turn around and disconnect if needed. We loved the privacy of the place and the scenery being against the canyon wall was amazing. The home felt like a home not a rental, it was clean and the linen was all fresh and the beds slept great. We were really surprised by the amount of food left for breakfast and really appreciate it, it was more than enough and there was something for everyone. The home is only a 5 minute drive out of town which we really liked. This was our first visit to Moab but will not be our last just hope this place is available the next time we want to come.
