The pictures of this property are very bright. Not so the condo, it is very dark inside. Nice location though for all the places we visited. Would have been extremely helpful if the condo had Wi-Fi. Who can go without these days? Owner said he would set it up with the ranch people but he never sent back the code. Using a high way street number is not helpful. Hard to find the place. This makes the place just average.
We had a great time. Clean, cozy and welcoming. Property was well supplied. Beautiful view on the back side over the pond and mountains. Plenty of room. Lots of fun personal touches. King size bed in the master suite, which is rare but so wonderful when you have taller people in the family!! Our girls loved hanging out outside by the water watching the swans and finding feathers. The location is super convenient. We pick Carbondale quite often as it's located right between Aspen and Glenwood Springs, which both are fun to spend time at. The Hot Springs Pools and Spa are great in Glenwood Springs and the town is quaint with a variety of fun places to eat. Aspen pretty much speaks for it self. And of course the beautiful colors in the Fall are worth coming for in and of itself and there are some great areas for leaf peeping there. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely return and or recommend.
My parents, husband and I stayed here for a week while visiting our son who lives in Aspen. We loved the convenience of the location as we could easily get to Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, and Glenwood Springs depending on how we wanted to spend the day. The condo was outfitted with all the amenities that we needed and we loved having the beautiful view right outside the patio door. The kitchen was a bit dated but that wasn't a very big deal to us as we mostly just ate breakfast at the condo except for one dinner that we cooked there. We did have everything we needed to make dinner. There is a somewhat steep set of stairs to climb to get to the bedrooms and I was a bit concerned when I saw them as I wasn't sure my dad, who has bad knees, would be able to get up and down them, but he really did fine and there is a sturdy handrail. The only issue we had was a problem with the master shower the first morning (it wasn't draining properly) and I contacted the owners who had someone come out that very day. By the time we arrived back home that evening, everything was working just great. I was impressed with how quickly everything got resolved. The only downside was that the condo did not have WiFi. I knew this going into it but didn't realize how much we all would miss being able to use our tablets. For anyone visiting the beautiful area however, you won't go wrong with this condo if you are looking for a convenient, quiet place to stay. We would stay here again.
My son(22) and I stayed here while we were visiting family. We both loved waking up every morning to sit on our patio with the lake view. We watched 5 different flocks of geese fly in each morning. It was a great location to get to Carbondale and Aspen. We would stay here again.
