This house is perfect!!

  • 5 of 5

We loved everything about this house!! The location is great; in a quite neighborhood and close to the main roadways in South Lake Tahoe. The house has plenty of space. We loved the big kitchen! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need and more (not food, obviously). Plenty of everything, even an air-popper, ice cream maker, and wine fridge! We enjoyed the deck and hot tub too! The house has books, games, movies, Bluetooth speakers, plenty of towels, beach towels, outdoor blanket, long folding table, patio chair cushions, extra pillows and blankets, and so much more! The house was clean and well organized!

This house definitely made our first Tahoe vacation even better!

Lovely house and great location!

  • 5 of 5

We loved Alpine Haus! The house has a very spacious and open floor plan, great for hanging out while part of the group cooks or watches TV. The house was very clean as well! We loved the convenience of how close the house was to everything! Very close to stores, markets (Ralph's), Bevmo, gas, etc. Also, the house had a lot of popular games, books, and movies (e.g. Harry Potter books, Cards against Humanity). Although we didn't have time to watch or play any of the games, it was nice to see that they were available. One thing to note is that some supplies are very limited, so either use wisely or bring/buy (e.g. dishwasher detergent, garbage bags). In summary, we would definitely stay again!

Great location and great for kids!

  • 4 of 5

Location was very nice, able to get to everything in 5-10 minutes. There was an abundance of snow as we came in January in the middle of a storm! and around the corner was a huge area that backed on to a hill and the kids had a great time playing in the snow (no need to pay or travel to a snow park, could even snowboard down it!) Loved the two lounges as one for the kids and one for the adults. Hoping to make it back next year!

It's a Definite Return!

  • 5 of 5

This house made our annual baseball trip in Tahoe a huge success. The description and the pictures of the house found on Homeaway and the Mangagement company were 100% accurate. The house was impeccable and my 2 kids, husband and in-laws had a very comfortable stay. It was clean and the kitchen is stocked. There is definitely pride in ownership! It's hard for me to rate the comfort of the beds because we have Tempurpedic beds at home and even the best hotels can't compare to my Tempurpedic. They did have brand new bedding and new towels.

One thing to remember, most homes in Tahoe do not have air conditioning as there is no need (we forgot). It got a little warm, but if you open up the windows and turn on the fans, you can cool the house down. There is also a house fan, which is a nice feature.

Lastly, the neighborhood is quiet and so close to Raleys and to restaurants. Thank you to the owners! We finally found a home in South Lake Tahoe that we would visit again.
